Threat Matrix: Daily Terror Threat - Thread 5
CNN ^ | March 12, 2004

Posted on 03/12/2004 8:23:06 PM PST by thecabal

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- This week's deadly train bombings in Spain will not lead to a rise in the U.S. color-coded terror threat alert system, a Department of Homeland Security spokesman said Friday.

"Based on the current intelligence, we have no specific indicators that terrorist groups are considering such an attack in the U.S. in the near term," said department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse.

"France and China cozying up"?

Wish I could tell you. I didn't even know France had a
Navy of any size. I'm rather sure it is minimal.

The only commonality I can see is a mutual hatred of all
things American. (other than our movies and rock music)
However, the Chinese depend heavily on our dollars. If our
economy crashes, they would be right behind us.

Right now, the RMB (Chinese dollar) is pegged to the US
Dollar. France would like to have China float the RMB to make the Euro $ stronger, thereby making trade stronger
between China and France (and the rest of the EuroWeenies).

I really believe it may be simply economics. The Chinese may be worried about our economy crashing....and wanting to put
their eggs in the "Euro basket".

I could be wrong....been there before.

Too many global chess pieces being shuffled right now.

It all seems tied to power, money, and religious dominance.

U.S.: Al Qaeda boss 'the Poet' killed
Saudi authorities first sought suspect before Riyadh bombings
Monday, March 15, 2004 Posted: 9:00 PM EST

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A senior al Qaeda leader -- described as the group's "chief of operations in the Arabian Peninsula" -- was killed in a shootout in Saudi Arabia, U.S. officials told CNN on Monday.

A U.S. counterterrorism official called the death "very significant, and a major blow to al Qaeda."

The man was identified as Abu Hazim al-Sha'ir, also known as Kahlid Ali Hajj. He was also nicknamed "the poet," officials said.

"The Chinese may be worried about our economy crashing....and wanting to put

That makes sense. That could also explain why Saudi Arabia cozied up to Russia, and are looking to do the same with China. If we can't pay the prices for their oil...

I posted a link to a site that gives details on the importance of the number 19 to muslims this morning. I just had time to read the whole thing and at the bottom was a very interesting description of the fanatical muslims called terrorists today. Written before 9-11. They do more harm to themselves with bombings and mayhem than they do to the rest of the world.

************************************************************ "Unfortunately what Muslims follow today has nothing to do with "Submission" preached by Abraham and Muhammad. They are following a religion never authorized by God : They divided the religion of "Submission" in to so many different sects, such as, Shi'a, Sunny, Ismaili, Hanbaly, Bahaii, and .... they follow two books, made by human and satan, "Hadith" (what Muhammad said), and "Sunna" (what Muhammad did), instead of following the Quran, the true word of God.

They are Idolizing prophet Muhammad against his will, and asking dead saints for health and happiness. They are following the religious leaders instead of following the teaching of God in the Quran. They are nulifying their daily prayers by adding Muhammad's name beside the name of God, nullifying their Hajj pilgrimage by inventing the second Sacred Mosque (Muhammad's tomb). The religious practices that are performed by Muslims is not keeping with teachings of the Quran, such as, paying their charity, fasting, covering the women from head to toe, cutting off the hand of a thief, stoning the one's who commit adultery, killing the none Muslim, and .... The duties of Submission provided by God in the Quran have been nullified by such Muslims that are following a religious path that has not been authorized by God.

Because of these fanatical followers of misguided teaching, the true nations of Submitters are misrepresented in the eyes of the world. That is why Islam and Muslims around the world have labels like, Terrorist, the Violent people the skew the worlds perceptions of the true nature of Submitters. That is how so called Islamic societies brought disasters upon themselves and they are among the most unhappiest nations in the world.

As God promises "Happiness in this life, and in the life after here for every Submitter" in the Quran, we hope that Muslim nations by going back to God, and worshipping God Alone, and following the scientifically proven Quran, they could achieve their happiness again, God willing. (Feb 2001)"

Then we need to get the word out:

Kerry alleges to have foreign allies against Bush

These same allies are the countries most likely turning their backs on AQ wrongdoing

Thus Kerry is helping to overthrow his own country and should be tried for treason!

XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX MON MARCH 15, 2004 21:16:28 ET

GLOBE REPORTER CLAIMS TAPE RECORDED KERRY 'MORE' LEADERS NOT 'FOREIGN' LEADERS; TRANSCRIPTION 'SCREW-UP'

A BOSTON GLOBE reporter at the center of a growing controversy over comments made by John Kerry last week in Florida now claims he "screwed-up" -- and John Kerry never bragged how "foreign leaders" privately backed his presidential bid!

"I mistranscribed a key word," explains Patrick Healy, a political reporter for the BOSTON GLOBE who covered the event in a pool capacity.

"Listening to the audio recorder now, in the quiet of my house, I hear 'more leaders' and I am certain that 'more leaders' is what Senator Kerry said."

Healy claims in an e-mail correction: "Transcribing on the bus in Florida, and again on the plane ride to Tampa, I heard 'foreign leaders' rather than 'more leaders'. I am very sorry for this screw-up, and please feel free to hold me accountable to your editors and higher-ups."

It was Healy's pool reporting of Kerry's "I've met foreign leaders" quote that ignited the original firestorm, and resulted in a dare from Secretary of State Colin Powell to name names!

BOSTON GLOBE reporter's email correction:

Subject: FW: Senator Kerry's remark at fundraiser about foreign leaders wanting him to beat Bush

Poolers,

Given the growing attention to Senator Kerry's remark at the Fla. fundraiser about foreign leaders wanting him to beat Bush, and Kerry's subsequent statements that he'd merely "heard from" leaders, I went back to my recording of the event to re-confirm his remarks and put them in context. I wanted to provide that for all of you as well as CORRECT the record on a key word that I mistranscribed.

When Kerry concluded his stump to the Florida fundraisers and donors, Milton Ferrell, Kerry's Florida finance chair, piped up:

MILTON FERRELL: "This is more than just the 50 states. You travel around outside the states, the people are still [inaudible] Europeans and elsewhere, they're counting on the American people. They hate Bush, but they know we're going to get rid of him. They're counting on us. [inaudible] It's a lot more than just [inaudible]-"

KERRY: "I've been hearing it, I'll tell ya. The news, the coverage in other countries, the news in other places. I've met more leaders who can't go out and say it all publicly, but boy they look at you and say, you gotta win this, you gotta beat this guy, we need a new policy, things like that. So there is enormous energy out there. Tell them, whereever they can find an American abroad, they can contribute," a reference to donations, prompting laughter from the crowd.

Transcribing on the bus in Florida, and again on the plane ride to Tampa, I heard "foreign leaders" rather than "more leaders." Listening to the audio recorder now, in the quiet of my house, I hear "more leaders" and I am certian that "more leaders" is what Senator Kerry said. I am very sorry for this screw-up, and please feel free to hold me accountable to your editors and higher-ups.

Deadly echoes of antiquity

Posted: March 15, 2004

The Spanish authorities are not the only ones hoping the 10 bombs that killed an estimated 192 people in Madrid on Thursday were set by ETA, the Basque terrorist group. They were quick to point the finger at ETA – not only because hardline elements within the Spanish government wish to step up their long-running war against the separatists, but because the alternative is too terrible to consider.

First you will need to do a search at google for:

1425 will muslims and communists be elected in the United States?

Then on the last page, at the end it will say "expand this search".

Sorry, but I cannot see well enough to copy the long google description to paper and then back to the computer, it caused my eyes to hurt.

and no this computer will not cut and paste or download and re-upload.

So all my notes or on paper.

I am always thankful when someone takes my searches and makes the line live/with google.

Although, at times it is wise to do the simple search and look at the links to like pages or pages that"contain the words" you have searched for.

I know very little about all this, am learning as I go.

Future of French Logistics

The French Army currently is undergoing a series of revolutionary changes. Simultaneously, it is ending the draft, downsizing from an active-duty strength of 250,000 to 170,000, revamping its higher command structures, and introducing modern technology and equipment that will require the rewriting of its doctrine. French Army headquarters already has outlined new organizational structures, including modular brigades of all existing branches. The logistics component will include three support regiments, five transportation and traffic control regiments, four maintenance groups, and two medical regiments; they will be organized in the two brigades of the future Logistics Command (CFLT), which will replace the 1st COMLOG. This command will fall directly under French Army headquarters but will work closely with the future Forces Command (CFAT) and the joint staff as necessary. These changes were decreed in 1996 and will be completed in 2002.
