Gee whiz,
It is oh six hundred here and already I have missed more than 540 posts in todays Canteen. I suppose that I'll just have to skip watching TeleTubbies and my morning Maypo in order to catch up.

U.S. troops frisk motorists at a mobile checkpoint in Baghdad on Friday. U.S. service members and Iraqis working for coalition forces are the targets of almost daily attacks by insurgents.
An armed security guard on Friday watches from the roof of the Kazimiya Shrine in Baghdad, its minarets wrapped in black cloth to mourn the victims of last weeks suicide attacks. Security has been tightened around the shrine following the coordinated attacks there and in Karbala that killed 181 people and injured 573 others.
