CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. -- A 96-year-old Cleveland County woman who uses a wheelchair faces charges of trying to sell crack cocaine.

The sheriff's department charged Julia Roberts with possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell.

Her family said she's innocent and that another relative stashed the crack in her wheelchair.

Two other family members also face charges.

Harold Roberts is charged with possession of stolen goods and James Roberts is charged with possession of nontax paid alcohol.

Deputies say the arrests are part of their effort to stop drug-related crimes in Cleveland County.

She's completely ruined her life. She'll probably never get into college, she might die young, oh, the humanity.

Oh, wait... She's 96. So what exactly is the reason she shouldn't be doing drugs?
