Funny, no mention in this article of the L.A. Times and Time magazine altering photos, nor of the Postal Service doctoring a photo of a blues musician for a stamp. But they do however insinuate the Kerry-Fonda spoof to be the equivalent of Soviet propaganda.
What Photoshop has done is to put the power that the media and government has always had and used, into the hands of the little people. Oh, the horrors!

Remember the time Dan Rather did an outside shot in NY City, and the network electronically altered the contents of the billboard behind Dan's head?

Owen Franken, 57, a photographer in Paris who took the original photograph of Ms. Fonda in 1972, was so incensed by the fakery that he said he was "trying to figure out how to sue people about it." And officials at Corbis, which sells licenses for both of the originals, are investigating the possibility of copyright violations. That's my first reaction to things I don't like.

The way I see it, The Liberals have finally admitted that Jane Fonda is a Traitor.Yeah, I think you're right. The libs are admitting that Jane Fonda can deliver the kiss of death to their lust for power. Personally, I think they're right.

So, does this mean all those pix on the circulating on the net with The Tourist Guy in so many locations are fake???? All except this one. This one is real.

BTW that's the picture from Al's canoe trip that wasted millions upon millions of precious gallons of water through the Dam in order to raise the water level enough to make his photo-op possible

The digital watermark, imperceptible to the eye, can be tracked on the Web even if the picture has been modified. Wanna bet?

Wow, a whole ranting seething article about Registered and they don't even mention his name! If I made that spoofed image, I know I'd be p^$$#d!
Yes they did, but typical of liberal press, they buried it deep in the article:
Adobe Systems, which makes Photoshop, says there are about 5 million registered users of the various professional and consumer versions of its software

There were many challenges along the way in building the Downside Legacy, but I believe all of the rebuttals have been addressed now! Thanks for the ping!

Wow, Registered is registered on the NY SLimes -- go figgure.
So, is infamy good? I know there is a back story to that famous image, but it is so convoluted I can't tease the whole thing out.

Yep, from the start several of us mentioned it, and even posted the separate photos in order to keep the Freep from being implicated. But here came anal retentive Corbis with threats, and we had to take them down.
If we'd been allowed to keep those images up, thus helping to disprove the fake.... But eeeeeeeevil Conservatives being honorable and ethical wouldn't have made a good story for the Leftist media, now would it? And seeing how Gates the Leftist owns Corbis....makes you wonder, doesn't it?
