I know this will seem like a cheap shot at teachers, and it's not intended that way. But... it's a known fact that pedophiles seek employment and avocations that bring them into close contact with children, in positions of authority and trust. Priests, scoutmasters, teachers, for example.
The NEA no doubt is shielding as many horror stories as the Catholic Bishopry was. Only in school, homosexuality is seen as something the children need to keep an "open mind" about.
Something stinks. Watch the NEA squeal when their dirty laundry comes out...

**Based on a 2000 survey of 2,064 public school students in grades 8-11, "Hostile Hallways II: Bullying, Teasing, and Sexual Harassment in School" was a follow-up to a similar study the Washington-based AAUW conducted in 1993.**
We MUST give the AAUW credit here for a job well done! Look at those dates!

The NEA is truly a terrorist group. When NEA Educrats whine about homeschooling kids not be properly socialized, they must have sinster motives for the kids in light of this article.

Yet despite the limitations of the existing research base, the scope of the problem appears to far exceed the priest abuse scandal in the Roman Catholic Church, said Charol Shakeshaft, the Hofstra University scholar who prepared the report. I doubt that this will ever receive play in the media. For one thing, it's not a "man bites dog" story. For another thing, it doesn't make Catholics or Christians look bad. Finally, schools are the temples of the Leftist religion, so anything that portrays schools negatively will be passed over.

The first law of homosexuality:
'Homosexuals' don't reproduce, they recruit
So obviously they will want to work around children
The third law of homosexuality:
Any exposure of children to homosexual behvaior is child abuse
So since the government schools, firmly in the grip of the NEA, are hellbent on advancing the homosexual agenda it could be correctly said that EVERY public school student has been molested.
The government schools must be defunded.

Donoghue at the Catholic League has pointed out that journalists went after pedophile priests primarily because they hate the Catholic Church. No denying that it's a real problem, but it should be seen in context.
Donoghue's article on putting the scandal in context can be found here, in an article entitled SEXUAL ABUSE IN SOCIAL CONTEXT: CATHOLIC CLERGY AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS:
