Shawn Michaels is appearing on Fox and Friends a little later on. Shawn is a hard core Conservative. I am sure he will have something to say about everything thats going on.
Saxby Chambliss is also going to be on.

Remember Deion Sanders turning to God?
That didn't last very long though.

I don't know. I think that ended up fair and square.

Yeah, but both those cases went beyond their participation in the programs--if you've seen the footage of Brett Hart's family yelling at Michaels backstage after the Wrestlemania screw-job, it was very real.

Raymond Fernandez better known to many old time WWF fans as "Hercules" passed away in his Tampa, Florida home from what is believed to have been a heart attack. Fernandez was 45 years old.
Hercules wrestled in the WWF throughout the 1980's all the way to the early 1990's before moving onto New Japan Pro Wrestling, then making a short stop in WCW as "The Super Destroyer."
Fernandez had been retired for years prior to his passing.

Maybe. But one thing is certain. It went exactly as scripted. =;^)

"Real" in wrestling is relative. The Harts are a long-time wrestling family. I can't see them breaking kayfabe on camera. They are way too professional for that.

Well, I hope that you're right and it's not contrived and he really has come to God since his neck injury. I've just been wary of him since the incidents I mentioned. I do know there are a number of real conservatives in the company, like the ones you mentioned.

Isn't that the guy that eats the wrestling ring after he's done wrestling?

"Real" in wrestling is relative. This is true :)
The Harts are a long-time wrestling family. I can't see them breaking kayfabe on camera. They are way too professional for that.
I wasn't implying they broke kayfabe--I agree the Harts would never do that. It wasn't on-air, but after the match while cameras were following everyone around backstage--I saw it in a documentary later (either Beyond the Mat or one of those documentaries that A&E and some of the other cable stations have been showing recently--would need to dig through my video collection to find it).

The very same. Fabled wrestler and high school football coach. Note: He was never a substitute teacher, despite urban legends to the contrary.

Never take an entertainer at face value. They may have their convictions... but then again, they may not.

Sweet! So what's HBK saying? Details for all of us desk-dwellers!
Rumors abound that Bret Hart will make his return to the WWE at WrestleMania this week...

I have this dream of Brett Hart coming back and begging Vince to let him be in the Hall of Fame. He's willing to do whatever it takes to get him in the hall, forgetting all the bad blood and wanting to be a "company man".
