An idiot from Canada was just on the Phil Hendrie show threatening the life of President Bush. Phil kept him on the line, hoping to be able to gather enough info to help the RCMP find him.

On the air, the guy said that if he had the chance he would do the deed. He didn't seemed concerned at all that Phil kept him on the line, even though Phil explained why he was doing it.

If he didn't have call blocking, can KFI track from where the call came? Anyone know?

This was an absolute real call. On the other hand, he is back into comedy doing a fake interview with Paris Hilton. He is doing it in a male voice.

Hate to admit it, but I was taken in a few times with Hendri's "real" callers. It's easy to do sometimes, even after you've heard the show a time or two. Don't listen much now. All old schtick.

If DFU says it was real, it was real. DFU knows SoCal radio better than anyone out there. Anyone who has listened to Hendrie enough knows a real vs. fake voice.

He does get real callers, obviously.

Phil is talking about it again and explaining that someone can get years in prison. It is not free speech. He doesn't understand the hatred for this president.

My favorite Hendrie moment was also my first time listening. He had a guy on (found out later who it really was) who claimed to have robbed three banks within the last month. Coincidentally, three real robberies had occured.

He said he did not technically steal because all he did was hand the teller a note asking for money. The whole show was him talking about how stupid the tellers were for giving him money. Phil was having a side conversation with the Feds who were tracing the call.

Oh my. Phil is now talking about he said in Aspen that he would defend his wife with a gun. They couldn't believe it. He calls them Hollywood Nazis.
