British Ambassador to Iraq (news - web sites) Mark
Greenstock, left, films the historic signing ceremony of
the new Iraqi interim constitution on Monday March 8,
2004, in Baghdad, Iraq. The signing came after the
council members finally resolved a political impasse
sparked by objections from the country's most powerful
cleric. Also watching the ceremony is L. Paul Bremer,
the US Civilian Administrator in Iraq. (AP Photo/Hussein

"Check out the ankle on that woman!"
"We the People of Iraq, in order to form a more perfect union for Shiites and my fifty wives......"
"I'm glad we asked Madeline Albright to come."
"Time to put on my dress boots for the big day."
What is it with him and boots? Is it his attempt to potray himself to Iraqis as one of them, and not an elitist? If that's it, maybe Kerry should try the same, so people will forget about his hundreds of millions.
"Don't make me punish you again. No more soccer. You play football now."
Come here, Shiites. You're going to sign this whether you like to or not."

Hats off to all and hopes for the safe return of our troops and leadership in Iraq and for the Iraqi people who have known nothing but war and a dictatorship for 35 years.
I remember one Iraqi woman, just before the war. She was about 50. She said, "War, that is all we have known. What's another war?" And then, she turned sharply with a tinge of fear in her eyes and said, "I must go. I can say no more."
Worlds least effective spy.
"Hey, Rocky, watch me pull a soccer ball out of this guy's head!"
