David crosby arrested for Gun/Pot possesion.

If you're a frequent visitor to my website you know my positions on the legalization of drugs and gun control. What's interesting about this case is this is the second time Crosby's been arrested on the exact same charges. Simply put, Crosby, like Michael Jackson, is sloppy. They both don't know how to stop their illegal activity.

Crosby is not a threat to anyone. He smokes marijuana for pleasure and carries a gun for protection. This is not something he should go to jail for.

What surprised me about this is the gun possession. I bet Crosby has supported politicians who support gun confiscation... perhaps like so many celebs, Davie is above the law.

What surprised me was the harsh punishment for having a firearm. I'm glad I live in flyover country.

Crosby has carried a gun for a very long time. Years ago, after he was busted on pot and gun charges, the cops asked him why he was packing heat. His only response was, "John Lennon."

Me and Paul

Well it's been rough and rocky travelin'
But I'm finally standing upright on the ground.
After taking several readings, I'm surprised to find my
mind still fairly sound.
Thought Nashville was the roughest, but I know I've
said the same about them all.
We received our education in the cities of the nation, me and Paul.

Almost busted in Laredo, but for reasons that I'd rather not disclose
If you're staying in a motel there and leave just don't
leave nothin' in your clothes.
And at the airport in Milwaukee they refused to let
board the plane at all.
They said we looked suspicious, but I believe they like
to pick on me and Paul.

We drank a lot of whiskey so I don't know if we went on
that night at all.
I don't think they even missed us, I guess Buffalo
ain't geared for me and Paul.
