Having watched some of the grilling of Mr Noreiga by members of the CBC, I was struck that there was something motivating them beyond concern for the Haitian people. Aristide was given a significant amount of support and failed to win the loyalty of the Haitian people. However, he seems to have found a way to win the loyalty of the CBC, especially Sheila Jackson-Lee.
Mr Noreiga is more diplomatic than I could ever be. Member of Congress or not, Ms Lee had no right to question him about his personal life in a policy related hearing (Have you ever been in fear of your life? When? Explain?). Her hostility when he would not play the foil for her game was unbelievable. Houston is not well represented in Congress.

"We have to wonder if some of the Congressional Black Caucus may have profited from their relationship with Aristide," Bingo! We have a Bingo!

Well well, so Randall Robinson's wife had a huge financial windfall dealing with Aristede.
Who'd a thunk it!

Well, the truth will out. Guess the CBC will call them "Uncle Thomas"...perhaps they could join the White Congressional Caucus. What? You say there isn't one...that would be discrimination!' Oh, nooooo..........

This is a hopeful sign, and courageous.
If the mainstream press ignores their voice, as they do most voices that run counter to their agenda, perhaps Miami Haitian Americans will continue to speak against Aristides (and his powerful NAACP / Black Caucus accomplices) through alternative media outlets (where Freepers and others who care about the truth can then help spread the word).

Leaders of South Florida's Haitian community met behind closed doors over the weekend and denounced some members of the Congressional Black Caucus for their ties to departed Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide.
"One of the questions we are asking is whether there should be an investigation into Aristide's removal at all," said Mr. Jean-Joseph, one of about 18 people who attended the meeting. "We are not sure that it is merited, given the cozy relationship between some caucus members and Aristide."

As I have commended the majority of folks in the Haitian community that resides in south Florida as hard working, honest folks just looking for a better life, so it follows that they would, unlike American Blacks, realize that the Black Congressional Caucus and The Democrat Party is not working in the interests of the Haitian people, just as they have never worked in the interests of American Blacks! You's think American Blacks would wake up and get rid of these phonies and crooks. When 50% of Black men are unemployed in New York City, the liberal, left-wing, Democrat stronghold, home to "First Black President" Bill Clinton and his miserable wife, something is drastically wrong. Playing the race card isn't working on this complicated problem. And...it is not the economy either! Good story on this subject this morning on MSNBC! All American Blacks should see it! If American Blacks want to move ahead they need a political change right now!

I'd certainly like an answer to that question!

Aristide was a commie anti-American tyrant - even he WAS elected in error by the Haitians.
That's the reason the left in America loves him, and his clone, Hugo Chavez so much. Besides, their "God" Bill Clinton helped install him.
NOTHING Bush does can ever please the hard left in this country - NOTHING.
Which is why its SO IMPORTANT to re-elect Bush. To make the hard left choke on their own bile, if for nothing else.

When the rats in Congress attack GW in unison, one question needs to be asked. Who paid for the latest attack?

Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide (above, center) flanked by Rep. Maxine Waters (left, Arsonist-CA) and Rep. Charles Rangel (right, Arsonist-NY).
Two prominent members of Congressional Friends of Cockroaches vehemently denied they had profited from their association with the deposed psychopathic dictator installed by Beer Crinton, first black president.
"Listen here, you [expletive deleted]," Rep. Waters explained, "I didn't see a dime from that [expletive deleted], and if you keep this [expletive deleted] up, my homies are going to [epletive deleted] your [expletive deleted]."
Rep. Rangel in characteristic hoarse, gravelly tenor replied, "The trouble with this [expletive deleted] administration is that it is too [expletive deleted] to allow a true patriot like President Aristide to remain as an embarrassment to this nation which has shown itself to be so [expletive deleted] I have to resort to accepting checks from foreign despots on the verge of the looney bin--strike that--that's not for attribution--you use that and I'll [expletive deleted] your sorry [expletive deleted]."
