I've never heard the argument set forth as succinctly as you have here.

You are one of the best.

Rock 0n!

"I challenged you and you failed. This is all you are going to get from me. You are not worthy of any intellectual discussion because you are intellectually dishonest."

Tell ya what. You answer my question about GWB with a yes or no, and I'll answer yours with a yes or no.

"I said malcontents in the military are not trusted."

Interesting that you haven't answered my question, either. It's very simple. Do you think that everyone who has ever won a medal for bravery in combat was in full support of its government's foreign policy? It's a simple question; why won't you answer it?

"I know you don't like it when one of your buddies gets taken down...get used to it."

No. I don't like it when people attack others anonymously. Acting that way makes you no better than a terrorist.

Not to worry, that sorry POS knows my name and that I was involved in bringing a very big hammer down on his arse.

Would you like our cheese menu or are you just here for the whine?

We do have a fine selection of moldy french cheeses that I believe you would find enjoyable.

"This is war is not about what we are fighting FOR - it is about what we are fighting AGAINST. "

What does this have to do with you going after people anonymously and your belief that anyone who disagrees with the current administration is somehow not a good soldier? If you were in the military when Clinton was in office and you expressed your disdain for him, could we assume that you are a malcontent and could not be trusted?

"Get that through your thick, tiny, vacuum-containing skull."

Attacking the person rather than his ideas is an indicator that you are in fear of losing your argument.

"Oh, I can assure you of something else. There was no anonimity when I called...and yes, I made sure that he knew my name and that I was at least in part responsible for what he was going to get."

Sure you did.

"He is absolutely giving aid and comfort to the enemy while we are at war. Those airheads on the left seem to believe that if we are just nice to them they won't want to kill us anymore. It goes beyond being hopelessly naive. Their foolishness is dangerous."

Oh brother. Do you really believe this?

Yep. The Coast Guard is a very small and close knit organization, and the Brotherhood of the Broken Bar even smaller and close knit. And another strange aspect about both, we have standards we live by. You know, a little thing called integrity and ethics.

So, how about a smelly french bre to go with that whine.

Are you here to discuss issues or just to make yourself feel like you have "won"?

Unlikely. I doubt that whoever you talked to is going to pass the information on. But if you want to think you're a brave freedom fighter who did a good deed, go right ahead.

How about answering my questions. It appears that you can't without questioning your own, fragile beliefs.
