So many teachers, their students and religious (dare I call them that) organizations.

Too bad journalists and reporters didn't have the "professional honesty" to jot down their names.

I know there are plenty of politicians who belong on this list. I'm sure they get campaign contributions from these people.

Peace Fresno. Here is their application -- CLICK AND LAUGH. I swear, this is on their application --

Annual membership dues: $12 (negotiable)

What kind of organization negotiates its annual membership dues? Too much.

OK, so first of all, your "wife" marched against Marcos before you met her?

Or did you meet your wife "here" and marry her and send her back to march against Marcos?

Maybe you could clear this up for me...

No, this isn't my "apology" for "preaching" to you about dictators...LOL you are so funny.

If you have any honor you may be considering apologizing, but just stay away.

I would be glad to apologize if I knew what I had done to offend you. You have called me an idiot and been demeaning to me in other fashions but you don't owe me anything.

BTW I have lots of info on ANSWER (fill in the dots yourself, I'm tired) but I am sure you know all about them.

But in brief they are affiliated with subversive communist organizations and support terrorists and wish for the USA to become a third world type nation.

The rest you can look up your self (ever used goggle?) if you really are interested.

Hay, if they bother you, break 'em...

Hay Txferever....was that a "bounce off me stick on you" comment....LOL shades of Pee Wee Herman

Here's one... I found out about via Jeeves:

PATRICIA ECKLUND-RUCH of some group called Operation Shoestring.

She wrote these two CHILDREN'S books:

PHILLIP, THE UN-RATTLED RATTLE SNAKE, published in 1998

MY A-B-C FRIENDS, published in 1999.

I found nothing about her group...

probably just her... Phillip(the sneaky snake) and some of her ASSORTED BAD COMMIE Friends.

It's obvious that breakem has not served because if he had he would know that in MEPPS all recruits are asked questions about their associations and their moral character. Being in this group is borderline sedition. The Army will not take a communist in because you cannot be loyal if you are amoral. Communists believe that the will of the state overrides any silly rule about telling the truth. There is no absolute right or wrong and Marxists believe that truth is only what the powerful TELL you it is. All laws are not absolute and are abstract to them. It is contrary to the beliefs of what the US Military is trying to teach these young soldiers and sailors.

So the ANSWER breakem is no. You cannot be an active member of a Marxist organization. It is one of the questions that they will ask and that can keep you from being accepted into one of the great institutions this country created.

If you read the UCMJ...and read it like you are not a MARXIST...you will see how this sailor could be brought up on multiple charges. He is in trouble. Bigtime!

Hint: look up punitive articles

Thanx for the link, despite your venon, your the first one on the thrad to try to "educate" me. When General Pershing walked through our camp he only told us to be strong in battle.

I didn't see anything that addresses the rule prohibiting demonstrating or joining this group. While it makes sense, I am asking to see the rule in writing. I'm not much for getting in line just because someone else says so.

You may not like this, but here goes. In the military all laws are not codified some are called "lex non scripta" or unwritten common law. I'm not sure what this branch of the service is going to say, but in the Army the punishment during wartime would be severe. The standard for someone in the military is much higher than the civilian.

All laws do not have to be codified in order for them to be punishable...this is a relatively new trend that started with the statist interpretation of laws in the last century...especially during Clinton's time in office.

I hope the military never discards this tradition.

Active duty military are not supposed to be involved in political action.

Actually, I believe members of the the Coast Guard are technically not classified as "active duty military," unless specifically designated as such.

Normally, they're part of the Department of Transportation.

Slight correction: the Coast Guard was transferred to the Dept. of Homeland Security on 1 March, 2003.
