Sharpton in Talks for Fox Show?

After he drops out of the presidential race and clears up his campaign debt, Rev. Al Sharpton may wind up hosting his own TV show on the Fox News Network, commentator Tucker Carlson said on Sunday.

Appearing on NBC's "Chris Matthews Show," the former "Crossfire" host predicted, "Al Sharpton is getting out of the race. He's going to ask the Kerry campaign to pay off his debt and he's going to do what he should have been doing from the beginning - and that is, host a talk show."

"He's already been in talks with [Fox News chief] Roger Ailes and he may go there," Carlson claimed.

I think having Rev. Al on TV would be a hoot. He's always amusing, and he shows liberals for what they are too!!! Book him.

Something is wrong at FNC. Can't figure it out, except that someone has really gotten to Ailes. Have also noticed that all emails are being rejected. Nothing is going through.

Guess if this is true, it only goes to show that success is it's own worst enemy.

This guy's trash, but some repubs overlook that to spite Kerry & Co.

There is no compromise with the "Reverend".

The day Fox News gives Al Sharpton a show of his own is the last day I will watch that medium, which of course will leave only the internet for current events, as I quit watching all the others long ago.

They can call it "The Return of Bozo the Clown".I rarely watch Fox anymore.Having opposing viewpoints on was a refreshing change from NBC-CBS-ABC,but the moderators,(Hannity,OReilly)are self-important morons.I even prefer Colmes now as a moderator, despite his lack of political understanding. At least he doesn't interrupt the guest,or ask five minute questions like Hannity.I'd much rather watch Dennis Miller who goes up against Hannity.

Calm down, everybody. This is only a Chris Mathews PREDICTION. I doubt seriously if Brit Hume confers w/Chris about potential hirings.

Come on, Limbacher. Tucker Carlson works for CNN. Carlson is trying to pull people's leg. And it looks like he's been successful with some on this thread.

This guy knows how to work all the angles. Probably the only reason he got into the Presidential race was to keep the money in his campaign. He's probably got some salted away; but maybe the Kerry campaign is going to pay him off so his votes will go to them.
