And it begins.

MoveOn.org raised money illegally, in an obvious and blatant fashion. This is Soros money. The law is clear.

Silent smile.

True, but are the ads still being run. If so does this not make those broadcasting the ads conspirators.

No doubt the RNC used the DNC letter written to threaten Florida election clerks who wished to record absentee votes from soldiers overseas.

When the FCC fines each station that carried the spots 27 thousand dollars for each time the spot aired, it will end.

The communcations act uses the term willfull and repeated. The fact they have the RNC registered letter makes the violation after the reception of the letter willful, and if they air it more than once .. repeated.

The fine for running 5 spots a day for a week would exceed what many of these stations gross in 4 months.

It might be worth while to spend a few bucks to tie these bastards up in court for a while - like 8 months.

"Guess who's going to pay off President Bush's $1 trillion deficit?"

Well, I know who it is. The same people who pay most of the bills in this country: The top 5% pay over 50% of the taxes. Only the dems want them to pay 100% of the taxes.

"The federal campaign laws have permitted precisely this use of money for advertising for the past 25 years," he said.

Uh, didn't anyone tell this turkey the law has changed?

"MoveOn.org has been running ads for several months on cable channels, which don't fall under FCC regulations."

This can't be true. If it were, FNC would be a whole lot more interesting to watch (wrt the newsbabes doing the headlines).

So instead of trading letters why doesn't the RNC file an injunction preventing the airing of these ads? Maybe they did and I just missed it?

moveon.orgly will be the left's undoing. If you play and pay with commies, the earth will shake. It's happened over and over and over again.

The left love a challenge they can win, but this one is a loser. Moveon.orgly is nothing more than satan sitting at a keyboard.

Every network and affiliate should be fined for each and every time they play these commercials and the fines should continue until these stations cease and desist.

MoveOn.org offices should be raided and everything should be ceased as evidence. Every officer and volunteer of MoveOn.org should be arrested and prosecuted under the Federal RICO laws and then the FBI should go after every single whining liberal who made an illegal donation to MoveOn.org. Criminals cannot be allowed to illegaly manipulate our electoral process.

there was thread a few days ago that brought the issue of MoveOn and how their financing was going against this new campaign finance law, but I cannot remember the title of the thread .....

Sure - if you average the number of contributors by the amount raised you get a $50 or $100 per donor, but the big money is coming from Soros et al.

I am conflicted - I am against them violating the law if indeed they are but I also consider CFR a bad law. Bush should not have signed that CFR bill into law.
