Kerry launches first election website in Chinese

With the North Carolina Senator Edwards' decision to withdraw from the election campaign on March 2, John Kerry, the Massachusetts Senator won the Democratic Party's nomination as candidate for the White House. Kerry is now actively selecting his election mate and assuming the posture of readiness to compete with Bush for the next presidential throne.

With continuous increase in population of Chinese origin in the U.S., Chinese Americans have become a force that cannot be neglected in election. It is reported that Kerry has set up an election website in Chinese, the first of its kind in American presidential election history. The website features rich content. Besides Kerry's political career, it gives a detailed list his views on all topics of discussion on the election contest, in the hope that Chinese-American voters can fully understand Kerry's political views.

The launch of the first Chinese website in American presidential election history not only reflects the fact that the voice of the Chinese-Americans is gaining increasing attention in the US, but also provides a more convenient channel for the Chinese who want to know more about the American political system.

Some experts in election think that the election this year will be the fiercest one ever. Both sides will fully mobilize their core supporters, because in today's America, the number of irresolute voters is decreasing. The candidates cannot place their hopes on these people.

The Associated Press says, "Force Bush out of the White House" has become the common conviction and objective of the Democratic Party's vocters.

Most Chinese Americans came here to escape the same kind of system Kerry wants to impose on the United States. The website is a smokescreen for what we know he is really after-- Chicom money.

Most Asian-Americans tend to be conservative and share similiar values with the Republicans. However, the Republican Party seems to have a knack for angering minority groups.
