I heard a rumor that the White House is really p*ssed about these phony news reports. They are a prime example of CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN reading Democratic Party 'talking point' memos and rushing to do reports based on their outlines.
Bush needs to start getting the truth out about the Kerry-Heinz links and direct support of the so-called victims. They are not victims but Democratic Party Hacks!
Would love to see Kerry get his b*lls kicked in television ads running coast to coast for the next two months.

GW and Rove need to take a page out of the old Clinton playbook.
Whenever the scent of a scandal or rumor was about to emerge during the Clinton era, Clinton had a crony in front of the media within seconds, not days later.
GW/Rove, by delaying their responses to these attacks, allow them to settle and sink in to the psyches. Not good.
Remember how quickly the 'liar Bush' attacks stuck.
GW/Rove should have an attack team in-place 24/7 because these attacks will not cease and must be responded to immediately. Those that 'settle in' for days are causing permanent damage.
Good job on the links collections, Backhoe. FR needs an 'index' page to the major links collections; otherwise, they get lost in the threads. The sidebar menu needs a permanent 'link to link collections' selection.

What's outrageous is that the mainstream media didn't suspect anything. They didn't give it one bit of cynical scrutiny. Just put them on TV. Note Vietnam Veterans against Kerry doesn't get the same treatment.
