I wish the Republican challenger would concentrate on touting traditional American values rather than Republican values.

Seems that is what he was acknowledging when he said "its time has come." I can certainly commiserate with you. I know how unfortunate a circumstance it is when someone disagrees with you.

We've got too many already, but thanks. Funny how so many people define extreme liberals as "moderate". There is no "moderation" in supporting the dismemberment and death of an unborn child. There is no "moderation" in believing that deviants deserve special rights. There is no "moderation" in believing that our borders should be wide open to any and all invaders who wish to cross. There is no "moderation" in believing that any and all social programs should be funded through the confiscation and redistribution of each individual's wealth. There is no "moderation" is supporting the destruction of our sovereignty through the support of the United Nations. There is no "moderation" in believing that 8-12 million foreign national criminal invaders who live in our country illegally should be excused of their crimes. There is no "moderation" in believing that the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution are negotiable in any way. The "moderates" need to go find another party more to their idealogical bent. I would be thrilled if the so-called "moderates" would leave the "big tent".

Jim Kolbe (Arizona) just announced that gay marriage... ...is something whos(e) "time (is) come" and compared the civil disobediance of gay couples getting married to the civil rights struggles of African-Americans.First of all, this homosexual RINO is incapable of speaking proper English!
He is one of the Log Cabin RepublicRATs who needs to haul his load of stained logs over to the DemocRAT headquarters where he will feel more at home.
After all, the DemocRAT Party is the party of the homosexuals and willing sycophants for their criminal agenda for America and their evil designs for our youngsters.
At the DemocRAT Party he will find that the logs will have a proper "fit."
DOWN WITH THE HOMOSEXUAL RACE AND DOWN WITH THEIR AGENDA! (It does qualify for a race, doesn't it?)

..compared the civil disobediance of gay couples getting married to the civil rights struggles of African-Americans. How can anyone with a working brain compare the fecally fixated sodomites' impositon of their immorality on society with the struggle for civil rights of oppressed Blacks?

Why don't the moderates start their own party?
To: Spiff
After many discussions with Republicans in the district and a long contemplation with my family, I have come to the conclusion that opening up an exploratory committee is the right thing to do, said Rep. Graf (R-LD30). This is a Republican district made up of good people with solid Republican values. Unfortunately, Jim Kolbe has continued to move further away from the mainstream values of the Republican Party with each passing year. His positions on immigration, spending, partial-birth abortion and traditional family values are out of line with a large majority of Republican voters. The article stated the traditional American stuff. The candidate stressed the Republican stuff. I'm only suggesting the candidate change his language.
To: Mark17
My guess is he's more of a plant (pansey) than an animal (RINO).

Republican Congressman Jim Kolbe (Arizona) just announced that gay marriage (in opposition to the laws)is something whos "time is come" and compared the civil disobediance of gay couples getting married to the civil rights struggles of African-Americans. He went on to state that (paraphrase) 'gay marriage will be considered normal in a few years'. I heard it straight from his own lips at a meeting with him today. Vote him out of office this year.
To: sasafras
The time for fag marriage has NOT come and should never be allowed to.A 2% of the population that is totally worthless trash and is a public health threat by spreading AIDS/HIV!
To: Abram
Abram - your entitled to your opinion but I could care less about moderates. Moderates are sheep - they dont care about anything. The only way to win moderates is to take a stand on something and fight for it, unfortunately the democrats kick conservatives butt when it comes to speaking out and standing strong. Republican Congressman are quite frankly the biggest bunch of whimps in this country - they dont stand united for anything and if anybody even hints that they are mean, biggoteed, racist, homophobic, etc. they crumble. You may like Kolbe becuase he is pro-abortion and pro-homosexual but in my book those are two things that this country doesn't need more of.

I would be thrilled if the so-called "moderates" would leave the "big tent". Well said. Either conservative ideals are right, or they're not. If they aren't, then why bother? But if they, then they are worth defending and pursuing. "Moderation" is for sissies who don't really believe in anything, or are too cowardly to acknowledge what they do really believe.

The more the homos push it, the more angry I get. I used to be very tolerant, now I'm borderline hostile to fags and rapidly moving towards hatred.

Homosexual Agenda Ping.
Very distressing. Please, if anyone has more ideas about what we can do to defeat this onslaught of the destruction of natural law, add it to this thread:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1076476/posts We have to be vocal. The "gay rights" crowd got where they are today because they didn't give up, they were determined, and fought like he!!.
We need to do the same, on the side of morality and civilization.
People who are on the fence need to understand that "gay rights" is part and parcel of socialism. It is the enemy of freedom. Free speech will be the next target, make no doubt about it.
