The current administration is doing it's best impresson of "Lost in Space" with regard to the immigration issue.

Such visas are issued to people who have undergone background checks and consulate interviews where they are fingerprinted and photographed. So where's the problem? They've already been interviewed and fingerprinted. Seems like a waste of time to continue doing it every time the visa holder crosses back and forth. If you're going to go to that extent, why issue the visa in the first place?
To: JustPiper
I thought this article was going to be about President Bush finally hearing what his followers have to say on this issue.
I was VERY wrong.
And I am VERY upset.

Yes, here comes the tinfoil.
Get used to it, it's the New World Order and it's coming to a planet near you.
Oh, and don't forget to roll out the welcome mat for our new "Mexican" amigos who get to freely cross the border. They wouldn't try to do anything like terrorist attack us, would they?

Other than the obvious dilemma of several million undocumented and illegal migrants coming into this country each year, there is the problem of
drug trafficking over the border.
That is where Asa Hutchinson (ATF) comes into the picture. It is surprising that Bush is playing ATF in such a large role in ushering in his new "amnesty" program and linking it with controlling the problem of drug trafficking over the border.
Thoughts?

Fox was upset that...Mexicans would have been photographed and fingerprinted before entering the United States, while Canadians would not. Hey, Fox is right on this one!
Photograph and fingerprint on the Canadian border too. Canada lets anyone into Canada with no checking on them.
