President Bush makes an unexpected stop to greet students and teachers who were waiting on the road to watch his motorcade pass at North Beardsley School in Bakersfield, Calif., Thursday, March 4, 2004.

Totally cool.
What stands out for me is that there is absolutely nothing phony about that expression on his face. He just seems to be happy to be there. This is not a photo-op.
This is just a small part of the reasons why W will get my vote in 2004.

Bakersfield is in the Central Valley, one of the conservative zones in Cal. The closer he gets to the ocean, the diet changes from meat and potatoes, to granola and soy milk - the breakfast of liberals.
San Francisco, being surrounded on three sides by water, is beyond repair.

This is so transparent. He's using those precious little children for cheap political gain. This has to be the ugliest political stunt I've ever seen.
(Well, isn't that what the Dims are saying about President Bush's new TV spots showing photos of 9/11? Doncha just wanna scream when you hear the Dims pull this kinda carp? We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.)
P. S. President Bush is going to win in November because he's real, not put-on. What you see is what you get. These pixs are GREAT!

That's the only way dignitaries and world leaders can bump bellies with the common folks, is completely unannounced, and unscheduled. Otherwise the security risks are way too great nowadays.

I am in rural SW Wisconsin and I am not only a Bush-Cheney volunteer (& a donor), I brought someone to the training session who has never before been active.
Between us, in the past 3 weeks, we are fairly certain we have changed the votes of at least 15+ individuals. And each of them will change some more.
