When I was a young trooper, there was a person that we were all aquainted with, his name was Jody. Jody moved in with our girl friends, ate steak, smoked our cigars, wrecked our car, drank our booze, and spent our allotment check.
Jody seems to be an Army thing, the Germans have Billibob, the Frogs have the white flag, the Air Force their Mothers, the Marines their Right Hands, and the Navy each other.
Jody goes back, in Army tradition, at least a hundred and Fifiy years, Who is Jody? Does he look like John F'n Kerry, the black guys in my Units seemed to have have a Jody problem more than, say, those, Polish, from Pittsburg, who is Jody?

AND the Navy didn't Have each other" BTW...We "HAD" DoggiesActually, now that there are chicks on almost all the boats, the Navy can (and frequently does) have each other.
But that is a different issue.

That's hilarious! I didn't know it was an Army thing. We talked about 'ol Jody all the time in the Marines. Ha! Good ol Jody's taking out Suzie while we're in the field.

My cousin Susan was a BAM, and she found Jesus and a Husband in the Crotch, she is a looker but a pain.
Painted on the ceiling of the Womans Barracks at PI, "Pain is good, More Pain is better", if you want soft don't marry a BAM.

That's a good link. I had no idea that the modern cadence calls only go back to 1944. They seem like such an ingrained part of Army life I would have guessed the basic songs go back hundreds of years, if not more.

Suzie Rottencrotch, she ain't going to be home, when you drag your sorry ass back from Nam, in the unlikely event that you don't get your dumb ass killed, and judging from your proformance that is the was it is going to be.
Uncle Sugar is going to give Suzi $10,000 and she and Jody................fill in the ending. Black DI's had the best command of Language.
