Nice ads.

I love the fact that they are using Laura Bush in the campaign. She really is a strong point. I doubt seriously that TeRAYsa will be highlighted.

I am impressed with all three spots.

They could be stronger. He should get Gibson to direct them.

Bet this is one nasty campaign the way Kerry has stated out -- picture these positive ads against the backdrop of the negatives RATs. I think most people would rather see positive.

I agree. I honestly believe that one of the things which changed after 9/11 is that voters are less tolerant of petty politics, and by that I mean negative sniping. The Democrats, because they've been in denial about the significant changes to America's political environment since 9/11 (because it doesn't favor them), haven't picked up on these changes. I think it's brilliant that the BC'04 campaign is starting out with very positive, "presidential", ads. And I think the contrast between these and the nasty ads being run by the DNC will be obvious to voters. Negativity alone has never won elections. Reagan won primarily because he was so optimistic. Hatred of Bush is really all the Dems have to offer, but most voters inherently like GW Bush, even if many disagree with his policies. The negative emphasis of the Dems will not, over the long-haul, work.

Great, all 3.

But "safer and stronger" was especially powerful imo.

One complaint that I've had about the GOP in the past (and now currently) is that they always tell the press (and therefore the DemocRATs) what they are going to do before they do it.

They've been telling the press for 2 weeks now that they are going to start their ad blitz. So now the Dems are ready for it. Why reveal your moves in advance?

Don't talk about it - just do it!

I'm a Christian Conservative and this is how I see it...
I ask some general questions that I think are important and will rate how I think the adds answer those questions as Poor-P, Fair-F and Good-G

Shows the President as sincere... G
Shows the President as strong... F-
Shows the President as deflecting criticisms... P
Explains why the President is a better choice... P
Appeals to the emotion... G
Appeals to the intellect... P
Would it make a fence sitter vote for him over Kerry... F

Over impression... Very general on detail and soft in nature... F

Looks like he is going to bet on trying to "change the tone" in Washington... my bet is, it's a lost cause.

Bush reminds me of the end of the movie "The Right Stuff". After Yeager crashes his buddy is speeding across the salt flats in an ambulance:

Ambulance Driver: SIR, OVER THERE. IS THAT A MAN?

Yeager Buddy: YEAH, YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT IT IS!

Kerry will never be president folks. Since his days after Vietnam all Kerry has done is to try to cut the prostate out of America's military. He is not fit to be commander-in-chief. We need a man for that! And that man is George W. Bush!

THE BATTLE IS ENJOINED!
Fellow FREEPers, I ask you to join me in FIGHTING the Good Fight--let us DEFEAT the Democrat Party Operatives and their plans to:
make our foreign policy subservient to the United Nations,
raise our taxes,
legalize more infanticide,
lose the War on Terror,
and appoint Judges Who Legislate From The Bench!

I have made a recent sacrifice of $50.00, donated to President George W. Bush! I am CONSIDERING doing a monthly contribution of $25.00 or more...this amount will be a sacrifice for me; it may not be a sacrifice for some of you...for some, it may be $5.00 that would be a sacrifice...for some of you, it may be $500.00.

Whatever your amount of sacrifice is, think about giving it now! The President is about to embark upon an early battle with the Socialists: they are united, strong, rich (don't forget the Soros Money!!) and determined!

Not all of us agree with the President on all issues; but now is not the time for inner party squabbling! As the enemy is united, so must we be!!

Give what you can!! I speak to you as a person who used to vote religiously as a Democrat: We must work to defeat John Kerry at the ballot box!! He must be defeated!!

Help President Bush today!! Here is the link to go to:

George W. Bush For President!

You'll find the donate link at the top of the home page!!

Thanks for reading!! Let us not be weary! Let us win this battle!!

Ok I've seen them. They're swell.

In the next 30 days, I'm going to buy a TIVO so I won't be forced to see another political ad this year.

I've already seen too many and it's still March.

It can only get worse.
