I love my SUV. I think I'll sue to marry it. If I stop paying for it, they can't repossess it. Kidnapping my spouse would be a felony.
SUV marriage rights now!!! Stop the discrimination! SUV lovers have rights, too!

Well over 18 minutes, and no replies from the troll. I'm shocked and deeply saddened the poster hasn't replied to any of our comments.

Haha! I am still deciding if I am supposed to 'accept it' or 'except it.'
People can be so silly at times!

..I don't know, this pathetically lame thread certainly qualifies as a tragedy, IMO. ;) Is it possible to have a thread that is just SO pitiful we feel obliged to respond as an act of human compassion?
Pity Ping for the Lady.

On my personal opinion people have a right to {be with} whoever they want and wish to see as their significant other, and it's not our problem or business to tell them what's right and wrongI could agree with this. I am not anti-gay like alot of other freepers, but I DO recognize that there is a difference between tolerating the gay lifestyle, and then giving them equal LEGAL status as a heterosexual couple. They are simply not the same, the same way a man and woman should never be considered total equals either (thank goodness the Equal Rights Amendment never passed..), its just a fact of nature.
Let them have something else, a group of legal agreements which most can get right now in most states. If you want to call it whatever you want, go ahead, but why have the State endorse a union like this? I think the State should stay out of it.

'Fess up. It's the stuck pig that squeals. You want to marry your brother or uncle or something like that. Or maybe you married your brother or uncle and want to "come out of the closet" about it. Or maybe your parents were brother and sister and you want everybody to think it's OK, and that you're not really retarded.

Ride the wave of change, otherwise you'll find yourself beneath it."History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic decline. There has been either a spiritual awakening to overcome the moral lapse, or a progressive deterioration leading to ultimate national disaster." -- General Douglas MacArthur

Dear Moonbeam,
Woodstock is over. There is nothing noble or honorable about accepting homosexuality. To do so is an act of moral cowardice.
Get the flowers out of your hair, put down the bong, and grow up. Some things are just right and other things are just wrong.
Hendrix has left the stage. And your dad wants his VW bus back.

Are you older than 14?
Are you completely unaware that all civilizations, including Ancient Greece, forbade homosexual marriage? There has ALWAYS been government interjections, into peoples' bedrooms/sex lives, as well as religious bodies as well.

Get that Hatered out of your heart, man, and move one.
