Bush to Kerry: Let's Play Nice
NewsMax ^ | 3/2/04 | Limbacher

President Bush called Sen. John Kerry tonight to congratulate him on his victories in Super Tuesday.

"We had a very nice conversation," the Massachusetts Democrat said. "He called to congratulate me."

Despite Kerry's months of vicious attacks, Bush asked that they focus on the issues and have a clean campaign, according to Fox News Channel.

Well, there's a first time for everything.

Everyone knows that. Bush is a
gentleman, but lethally armed. I
look forward to the campaign.

Very afraid.
I'm also wondering if Kerry is being blackmailed since the whole intern thing. He needs to make it to Boston, and if he doesn't, you know who will steal the nomination.
I can see Bush helping out a Bonesman, who is going to lose anyway, by making it look competitive.
But only until Boston.

You know how Bush is, and Texans are in general.

They'll let a little something-something slide with a wink. But don't f--- with them - just ask Ann Richards, she'll tell you.....

I think the Bush team is up for the fight. Plus, Bush does have us in his corner slamming the liberals everytime they open their mouths. Just look at the way we treat the trolls who come looking for trouble on FR.

I'd say the liberals had better start worrying cause my gloves are off!

Brit said they (meaning Fox) called the WH to confirm the phone call. They were told that Kerry suggested sticking to the issues.

As usual, the DEMS ARE LYING TROUGH THEIR TEETH!

If true, it was a very bad move on Bush's part. He's been hammered by F-ing Kerry for months with lies and falsehoods by Kerry and his operatives. Does Bush really think that Kerry will now turn over a new leaf? We all can give the president countless net sites exposing Kerry as the lying liberal that he is. That the president would choose this tack is utterly bewildering to me.

George W. Bush is a gentleman. He can fight with the best of them, though, and he will definitely leave JF'nK bloody.

He barely won. If Bush and the GOP play nice this time the result will be a Democrat victory. Pure evil doesn't understand nice. I'm tired of the GOP being nice and deferential while the Democrats punch them in the groin. I pray that Bush and the GOP will play dirty with the Democrats and give them some of their own medicine.

I wouldn't trust Kerry if I were Bush!

The President doesn't trust Kerry...he's setting him up.

"Well, there's a first time for everything"

The sun will rise in the West and set in the ast before the democrats are "nice".

And they will never be honest because they are incapable of honesty. If they were honest they would not be democrats.
