Our great-grandson, J.D. will be undergoing surgery tomorrow to install a shunt in his brain to drain the cysts that occupy the right half of his brain. J.D. was born with nothing but a mass of cysts instead of healthy brain matter. Last month an MRI showed that the left side of his brain has regenerated. They believe that draining the cysts on the right side may allow the right side to regenerate. J.D. is a miracle baby already. He wasn't supposed to live. I am asking for prayers for J.D. as he goes into surgery tomorrow and prayers that his brain regenerates.

Maybre it was me --- I posted a prayer and a poem, and then after I hit send, I saw nothing but a blank space.
I don't know what happened.
Maybe the moderator would let me know. Anyway, my prayer is not here but it is sent anyway and with blessings for all your family.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry that your prayer was taken off. I asked the admin if they could remove the blank space, not the poem. I read it anyway and it was beautiful. Thank you.

Oh my goodness...she looks like she could be his teenage babysitter. :) How cute they look together. Prayers going up for JD, his mom and all his family. What a cutie he is in his outfit. We'll be praying hard.

We pray that Your miraculous hand continues to rest mightily upon J.D. ... bring him through successful surgery, I pray, and may he continue to astound the medical team with the regeneration of his brain. We cannot begin to know how fearfully and wonderfully we are made, but we know that You are the Creator of life ... may Your Name be praised forever and ever.
