The new machines here in San Diego are a mess. Many people were turned away when their polling places couldn't get the machines working early in the day. I can already see the lawsuits and protests forming up. If there are any close races, we're in for another long drawn-out struggle.
To: Howlin
Ping and I'm here. Thanks. Brit said that winning Vermont gives Dean 15 delegates.
Will Sharpton and Kucinich keep on keeping on?
To: SwinneySwitch
Did Kerry win Georgia? I thought I just saw that flash by.

Good one, Dog. How many delegates does Vermont get him? Three?LOL, if Dean plays his cards right, he may be able to get a front row seat, center balcony, at the convention.
To: BigSkyFreeper
All his guests could just as well be house plants.Yep, just stage props so that he can get his views heard.
CNN still refusing to call Georgia. Hoping for a Edwards "surge" I guess.

Tim Russert and Tom Brokaw on Hardball.
Tim marveling over the hatred the dems who came out to vote in these primaries have for Bush.
He then leapfrogs ahead to saying this could translate into huge dem turnout in November to oust Bush.
I think it means the only ones motivated to get to the primary polls to vote for these sorry losers are Bush haters.

I have seen several reports that turnout was low in Georgia, e.g.
Low turnout, confusion at some polls As of 4:30 p.m., only 16 percent of Cobb County's 350,000 registered voters had made it to the polls, said Registrar Sharon Wingfield.
"This is not good at all," Wingfield said.

It's a Flipping DEMOCRAT PRIMARY .. Does anyone really expect them to praise Bush after they just voted for Kerry???

Every single one of these primaries have had very low voter turnout. Suggests to me it's just the rabid kook Democrats motivated to get to the polls. It's not hard to poll 70% hatred out of rabid Dems even if the turnout is less than 20%.

Howlin, thanks for the ping. Looks like it's gonna be the schmuck who wants to be the "second black president". What a putz.
Mr. Inspectorette and I just voted, we were the ONLY ones at our polling place. Proud to cast our ballot for the unopposed George W. Bush.
We're using paper ballots here, anybody who screws those up has to have the IQ of Maxine Waters.
