It just really seems like Rosario is the only one of the Republicans who could actually beat Boxer.

What do you all think?
To: Cinnamon Girl
Being a "moderate", she doesn't stand a chance of beating Boxer, no democrat will vote for her when they can keep the real thing.
Howard Kaloogian is the only one that stands a chance of beating Boxer.

I voted absentee for Kaloogian.
Also NO on all the Props.
To: Cinnamon Girl
I voted for Marin but would have voted for Kaloogian (?) if I had known mmore about him.

Also NO on all the Props.I dare you to say that to Arnold's face.
To: Cinnamon Girl
Kaloogian is my choice and NO NO NO and NO on Propositions.
Marin was just on KABC Radio w/ Al Rantel for an hour.
Al said he is voting for her. I was unimpressed.

They voted for Schwarzenegger. He's a moderate. Rosario says she's against amnesty for illegals, driver's licenses for illegals, wants to boost border patrol, not increase the budget, and wants to focus on national security. What's wrong with that?

.
I'm also going with the one whose name is on my $20 Bill =
ROSARIO MARIN, the BOXER Killer
.

I'm voting yes on 57 and 58. We elected Arnold to give him a chance. It's worth a try.
To: calcowgirl
I am inclined to vote no on 57, but why not 58? 55 and 56 are definately loosers.
To: Cinnamon Girl
No. She's a wasted vote.
To: Cinnamon Girl
I decided on her a few weeks ago. She was on Al Rantel tonight.

Please explain how Kaloogian has a chance of beating Boxer. I'm serious. I haven't voted yet. It just seems like Boxer's most likely anti-Republican attacks "I'm a woman, I understand women's rights," and "All Republicans are racists, that's why they want to block up the borders" will fall flat against Marin. What do you think?
To: hole_n_one
Also NO on all the Props.
I dare you to say that to Arnold's face. I'd do it. What's Arnold going to do to me?

I think the better question is...
what's with you?

Not me, anyway.

I was gonna vote for KALOOGIAN but some of his supporters on another thread were smearing Jones...so I'm thinking of Marin. Also voting against 56 and for 57,58.

I am inclined to vote no on 57, but why not 58? 55 and 56 are definately loosers. Prop 58's amends the constitution to allow the bonds (which would otherwise be prohibited). Passing an amendment to allow borrowing sets a very bad precedent, imo. Also, the changes to control spending are weak and have so many loopholes they become meaningless.
There is a strong spending cap proposal coming on the November ballot. I'd rather wait 6 months and have the real thing. Plus.... 58 doesn't go into effect unless 57 passes, and vice versa.
