If PA goes for Bush, the networks will find a way to keep from calling that state until two weeks after the polls close in Hawaii. They only call the Democrat wins early.
Blitzer: "We, uh, don't usually tend to call states with, uh, margins around 5%. Bush, uh, appears to be, uh, out in front, but there's still 1% of the vote to be counted. I think Judy and I agree that anything can happen with that one percent especially in such a Democrat-friendly state as Pennsylvania."
Woodruff: "Well I agree Wolf. Bush is not popular anywhere in the northeast and those last hundred votes or so could make all the difference."
