These people make me sick.
Kerry is despicable and so is Cleland.

That dialogue reads like a comedy routine.
These medical records will wound Kerry more than his war injuries did.

It's past time to release bill clinton's medical files, too.

I spent four times as much time in Viet Nam as Kerry did - so I will submit the request: "Show us your medical records, John Kerry!"

Bush released everything down to his DENTAL records to answer the Geobbels Big Lie from the democrats that Bush was a deserter. Kerry medals are extremely suspect, particularly the Purple Hearts that got him out of Vietnam after 4 months.
What is this, the 18 billionth example of complete deceit and hypocrisy by the "media."

"That might be the height of hypocrisy, for people who never went to Vietnam [to ask for Kerry's wartime medical file]," Cleland, a leading Kerry backer, told WABC Radio's Steve Malzberg. Do you suppose Cleland also considers it the "height of hypocrisy" for people who never served in the National Guard to ask for Bush's military records?
Nah...
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
I think I'm gonna puke. Grrrr. Cleland doesn't have a purple heart cause he blew himself up.

I appreciate the questions, but things would have been better still if Marlzberg had been better informed.
It wasn't Kerry's "training officer" who said Kerry didn't miss any duty days. It was his "commanding officer."
Also, Kerry didn't get out of the Navy six months early because of wounds. He got out early to run for Congress. He didn't run.

"Sen. Cleland, who lost three limbs in Vietnam but never received a Purple Heart, said Kerry's physical sacrifice had been just as great as his own"
ROTFLMAO! Cleland lost three limbs due to his own incompetence - picking up a fellow's grenade. He could have done that back in Ft Hood. At least Kerry's wounds weren't self-inflicted...or is that Cleland's point? LOL.
Kerry won't release his Medical Records because he "earned" his Purple Hearts shaving with a blunt razor.
What a dork.

Let's start calling him "One Nut Kerry" to force him into showing his files to prove otherwise. This is great, but don't force it till he's got the nomination.

The hypoocrisy of the left is insane.
It's perfectly fine for the dims to demand to see president Bush's military records.
But it's not ok for people to request Kerry's record.

I'm inclined to give him a pass on Vietnam service. All wounds inflicted by the enemy which require medical attention qualify for an award of the Purple Heart. I know it's an award I never want to receive. If it's my blood, even a little wound will be a big deal to me.
I'll give him a pass on the Purple Hearts, on leaving country early and on the actions for which he received the Silver Star and Bronze Star with V device. Some superior signed off on all of these and is ultimately responsible for each decision (just as Bush's superiors were ultimately responsible for judging the character of his service).

...calling requests for the Vietnam records "the height of hypocrisy." How 'bout calling into question every detail of your opponent's service while keeping your own under wraps. Would that be hypocritical?
Apparently not, because service in Vietnam elevates Kerry to a moral plane high beyond our comprehension.

The Repubs have GOT to take off their gloves, throw away the Marquis of Queensbury rules, and fight the Dems on their own ground.
Clelland shouldn't be permitted to escape with this phoney posturing over Kerry's record.
If George Bush's record has been subjected to so much scrutiny, the American Public is entitled to know WHY Kerry received those "Purple Hearts" before returing stateside to aid Hanoi Jane Fonda against our servicemen and Country.

If Kerry is the candidate and can't go on due to health, are we going to get Lautenburged AGAIN by the RATS!? Hell, if Kerry does go the distance only to drop in the polls near the end, I ask the same question, will we be 'Lautenburged'?
