[history]
Assailing Bush's efforts, he calls for more troops and police officers.
LOS ANGELES - Seeking to zero in on the differences between himself and a wartime president, Sen. John Kerry on Friday laid out a broad plan for dealing with threats both at home and abroad, and said President Bush has "fallen short" on his vow to protect Americans after the 2001 terrorist attacks.

The audacity of this pompous ass! How dare he! The media has got to be stopped. He continues his barrage of lies because of their duplicity. It's sickening.
Don't let it bother you too much. Bush hasn't started his campaign yet. When Ketchup Boy is called to answer for his overwhelmingly anti-defense voting record or how he can accuse Bush of purposely misleading the nation into going to war when he had access to all the same intelligence and voted for the resolution to go, he'll have nothing to say except that he was in Vietnam. The mainstream media will try to spin for him, but they are no longer the all powerful machine they once were, and trying to polish a turd like him will be no easy task. He also has the dork factor working against him. Kerry's strutting around and talking trash because he beat the other dwarves, but the real fight hasn't even started yet.

The media has got to be stopped. He continues his barrage of lies because of their duplicity. It's sickening. So right. It would not even be possible for any prominent Republican candidate for public office--much less a Republican presidential candidate--to get away with saying a fraction the stuff Kerry says without being excoriated by the media. The Orwellian double standard is enraging, and it is definitely sickening.

appoint "a special envoy the quality of Bill Clinton" So Kerry plans to fight the war on terror with lying, draft-dodging, horndogs? The Dems better get some of their welfare mammas to a fertility clinic, quick!

Clinton is a sociopath. Kerry can't begin to match him, but he's willing to give it the old college try.

If someone sent Bill Clinton to my country as a "Special Envoy", I would consider it an act of War.

Well, that comprehensive plan should lay to rest any doubts about Senator Kerry's courage and foresight for leading America in its war against terrorism! PLEASE!

Ed Gillespie is ahead of the Kerry's camp on this one. When Terry attempted to go after the president because the loved ones on military in action have to buy their own body armor, Ed's come back was Kerry voted against the bill that would have supplied the body armor for them.

I agree with Husker24. Kerry makes Clinton look like a stand-up guy.
If the vote were between Clinton and Kerry I'd vote for Slick William.

Many of us FReepers here are well aware Kerry voted against the body armor, and now the parents of these brave soldiers are having to pay for the body armor themselves. The Democrats should be ashamed they gutted the military all the while The Bent One was in office. McAwful got slammed onto the mat over this on Fox News Sunday by Gillespie and Chris Wallace. The media needs to be hammering away at the Democratic wannabe's over this, rather than giving those 4 dingbats, especially Kerry, who I know voted against arming our troops, a freakin' pass.

He's truly evil.

"I'd rather eat bees than vote for Kerry"Have we got the makings of a bumper sticker? :o)

Even though I hated Clintons politics, he never seemed like a prick to me. I hate to burst your bubble, but Clinton is a grade A prick and a**hole par excellance. He just managed to slickly deliver his insults, betrayals, and undermining and dividing of our country, fooling some into thinking he had humor or some saving grace. He's worse than Kerry, who as you correctly note, is also a prick. Hateful and negative, he doesn't deliver as smoothly as clinton.

He also promised to make the United States "energy independent" from the Middle East within 10 years "so our sons and daughters will never have to fight and die for it." [Kerry's] plan probably involves a Federal car tax so huge, that people wont be able of afford a vehicle, there by rendering us "energy independent".
Unbelievable as it may be to most Americans, the liberal enviros are salivating at the thought of taking our cars away from us - in the name of energy independence and clean air - but really to keep us little folk less mobile, easier to manage - and it will have the added advantage of differentiating between us and them, the enlightened aristocracy and their Hollywood friends.
