"Osama bin Laden has been found and is surrounded by U.S. special forces in an area of land bordering north-west Pakistan and Afghanistan." He's been sighted and surrounded before. That's not quite the same thing as caught, but I'll reserve judgement. I'm not up to speed on this story yet.

It is in the theaters,,apparently the girl was dressed as a boy to protect her from taliban and enable her to make money,,women couln't leave home without men so women on their own, dead husbands etc, were not able to make money. Taliban were really evil. I think the movie was made in Afghanistan and is supposed to be wonderful.

Well if Amercia doesn't prevail in the WOT, it stands to reason that America (and the rest of the Free World) loses. Liberals are using Islamic Terrorism as a proxy to induce their brand of social change in the Western World after the end of the Cold War.
After the Wall fell and capitalism was embraced (to a degree) throughout the Communist bloc, they needed a new "designated hitter" against America and the West. They found their new champion in Islamic fundamentalism.
