February 28, 2004 -- Besieged shock jock Howard Stern taunted his government critics yesterday by skipping his usual congressional and FCC attacks and tearing right into the top guy - President Bush. Stern also said he fears his "suspension" last Wednesday by radio behemoth Clear Channel has turned into a firing.

Stern is a crude, self-absorbed creep. News to me that he's still broadcasting.

Anyone who had a decent show and a station dropped them would try find new stations to carry the program.

Nah, I think the Corporate bigwigs actually tuned in once and were horrified. You're probably right, but I think it was the reaction of the American people to the Janet Jackson thing that made the bigwigs sit up and take notice of the other garbage that was hitting the airwaves.
To: GeronL
the only thing the bigwigs listen to is their wallet. Bubba cost them a lot of money. Stern is fixin to cost them some more.

Real good Stern .. blame everyone else for your own actions
Hey Stern .. did President Bush force you to do a show on having sex with a dead corpse?
Did President Bush force you to tell prostitutes to go down to the WTC after 9/11?
Did President Bush force you to describe in detail to your audience of what sex acts a couple midgets did to strippers?
Sorry Mr. Stern ... the fact is .. you are a pervert who gets your jollies off on the air waves and you were called on it
Hey Howie .. how about you take responsibility for your own actions?

"Get him out of office. I'm tellin' you, man, he's in dangerous territory [with] a religious agenda and you gotta vote him out - anyone but Bush," Stern railed. Howard is warning us? about dangerous territory? Come on!
An atheist with no moral values is telling us to get rid of Bush, a man with decent moral values and an exemplary faith in God?
Take a pill Ho word. You are very, very, Very, Very sick!

What is howard's severance package?
If he is firced for FCC cause will he loose it all?
Could howards paranoia be mistaking a negotiation tactic? IOW his bosses want him to PERSONALLY pay for any fines.
I don't listen to him. These type of comments by him only make me want to ridicule those who do listen to him.

stern O
To: agitator
Could the geometic jump in fines have the suits worried? It is not like a few months ago that would have just been a few thousand slap on the wrist. Now the fines could reach seven figures. That could hit profits. When profits are low the suits have their OWN jobs on the line.
AS for stern's suspension, There is such a thing as a timed delay. He could have easily bleeped out whatever he said.

AS for stern's suspension, There is such a thing as a timed delay. He could have easily bleeped out whatever he said. Then it would sound like a test of the emergency broadcasting system.

I'm not the type of person who is easily shocked by things people say
However, Stern managed to shock me .. he is rude, crude and obnoxious
