"The Passion" v CBS, Tell THEM
2/27/04

"I wish you'd tell your viewers that both Pat Robertson and Mel Gibson strike me as wackos."When did he comment on the crucifix in the jar of pee "art"?
Being so politically astute, how does he feel about Sen Byrd calling Americans n8ggers? Art of description?
Imagine J F-ing Kerry's art of deception, not answering questions from the media. And his art of impression, feeling, like the sentiments conveyed in the Rolling Stone?
Christianity is an enormous obstruction to the goals of liberalism, not simply understanding, but believing in the differences between good and bad, allowing people to construct a wall between the two. The purpose of lame comments from Rooney... is only to avert this process.
Please use the link below to show CBS how we feel. Too often it is the leftists who are doing so, and for the wrong causes. Again I urge you to take a few minutes to not only put CBS on the defensive, and rightfully so, but force at minimum an apology from Rooney.

"As broadcasters, we aim to ensure that our national viewing audience is reflected in our programming and our people.
We recognize that a work force comprised of a wide variety of perspectives, viewpoints and backgrounds is integral to our continued success.
This is not a campaign, but rather a fundamental way of doing business at CBS, and we continue to be steadfast in our goal to become more diverse and more representative of the public we serve." (EXCEPT FOR CHRISTIANS)

LOL! I was thinking the same thing.
In Isaiah 54:17, God told Isaiah, "No weapon formed against you may prosper, AND EVERY TONGUE THAT RISES UP AGAINST YOU IS CONDEMNED ALREADY".
I rest my case. Let Mr. Rooney take up his argument with God.

"Andy Rooney: 'Passion' Good for a Few Laughs" I had enough of this sour old bastard years ago. On the rare occasions that I watch 60 Minutes, I turn the TV to another channel when it's time for him to do his weekly hatchet job.
And there just might have been something good about this man years ago. I doubt it, but there might have been.

My comment to CBS:
I heard Andy Rooney on Imus. How has Mr. Rooney commented on other recent Christian "art", such as a crucifix in a jar of urine or feces on a picture of the Virgin Mary? I am unaware of any such comments.
Mr. Rooney is a bigot. While Mr. Rooney continues under CBS employment, I will have to assume that CBS approves of Mr. Rooney's bigotry. I cannot possibly support CBS on this matter, nor can I remain idle. I will be notifying your 60 Minutes sponsors of my disapproval of your bigotry and will suggest that they shift their advertising to one of the other two networks.
I would appreciate some notification of your intentions with Mr. Rooney before I use my First Ammendment rights to eliminate an otherwise interesting news program.

I told them that we quit watching 60 Minutes years ago and Andy Rooney's comments about "The Passion of The Christ" made us glad that we did so.

If Rooney made the same comments about a "burning" cross, he would have fired by Monday Morning.
