"Women tell me they can't leave their homes, they can't go about their daily business. And there is a concerted effort to burn schools that are educating girls [and] to intimidate aid workers who are women," the leading Democrat complained.

She's right: we MUST do something. We start with the Saudis. . . and after the fires in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Mecca have burned out, we move on to. . . . (evil grin)

I'm really perplexed at how the lamestream media could have missed this.

Ignored it, you mean.

The reason is easy enough. Protect her.

Her insidious message must be met with approval on a certain level from certain quarters, or we would see it reported. So on the one hand she gets to say it, on the other hand, keep her comments below the radar of the peons so they don't get wise to where she's really coming from.

It takes a village
To rape and pillage,
Saddam was known to say.
Though pulled from a hole,
He'd still be in control
If Hillary'd had her way.

Ok, I was going to post some pictures from here; but I can't. They are too gruesome.

If anyone thinks life under Saddam was better. Go to this link. Scroll through the photos.

More pearls of wisdom oozing out of Hillary's mouth. She'd be the perfect running mate for John effin' Kerry.

Same logic the libs use to describe Castro.

"He may be a murdering dictator but the Cuban people get free education and free medical care".( medicine provided by Cuban exiles)

Some tradeoff.

Hillary was better off under this beauty!

Good ol' boy, Webster Hubble, reportedly Chelsea's papa.

She speaks to the stupid because they will listen.

Very nice! That'd make a great book title and Republican campaign slogan.

And it reflects R. Emmet Tyrell's phrase of The Moron Vote.

Donning the asbestos umbrella here - Hillary Clinton has a point. Look, even a blind pig will find a nut in the forest once in a while. If the Shi'ite majority *do* end up getting a government based on Islamic law, women in Iraq *will* end up in a terrible fix. They will be living under Iranian conditions or worse. Our occupation czar is putting off an election as long as he can for that very reason. He knows that if one were held tomorrow, the shi'ite fundamentalists would have sha'ria law next week, and then it's back to the good old 8th century.

Saddam: "Women of Iraq! You have the right to be raped by my two handsome sons and by my palace guards. If you speak out against these rights you will be tortured and/or put to death! Heil, Saddam!"

Hillary Clowntoon, you're a pantload.

From the article:

During her trip to Iraq last November, Clinton said Iraqi women told her personally how they felt less safe since the U.S. deposed Saddam.

"Women tell me they can't leave their homes, they can't go about their daily business. And there is a concerted effort to burn schools that are educating girls [and] to intimidate aid workers who are women," the leading Democrat complained.

This part was taken out of context. Not like that is a surprise, coming from NewsMax. If NewsMax says the sky is blue, I will look outside before I believe it. They have burned me too many times.

"Ole Crusty" needs to spend a week with these women and hear nothing but the horror stories they have witnessed, and were subjected too during Sad.'s years in power.
She makes me sick!!

How do your concerns about the forming new government equate to women having it better under Saddam?

Please list how things were better under Saddam, as Hillary and evidently you, would have us believe?

Oh Hilary, only you could come up with such irresponsible lies and diatribe.

Oh but wait - maybe since you have endured being cheated on, lied to, laughed at by your husband just so you have the power to say such crap - then you might understand better than most - allowing women to be used as political tool to further your own career, is no different than having to hire private investigators, to prevent bimbo eruption.

Sadaam - Bill they may have had different goals when abusing women, but in essense they are the same. And you - aren't really any different from the women in Iraq.

Wow...she's essentially saying that our Occupation of Iraq is worse for the women than the gang rape sessions Saddam and his "boys" used to have with them....says alot about her world view.

I heard a blurb on the news the other day about when the Red Cross visited Saddam ... the news said that he was going through "Withdrawl Symptoms" ... anyone hear 'what' it was?
