Terrorism in the classroom - One lesson titled, "Tolerance in Times of Trial," explores "the problems inherent in assigning blame to populations or nations of people by looking at contemporary examples of ethnic conflict, discrimination and stereotyping at home and abroad." While students "brainstorm a list of descriptors that come to mind when they hear the word 'terrorist,' " teachers are to "note how many times 'Arab,' 'Middle East,' or 'Muslim' get mentioned," before asking the students if they think "this characterization is fair" and whether it compares "to the characterization of Japanese-Americans and German-Americans during World War II."

Is the NEA terrorist?
Yes -- one fact only needed here!
**The NEA strongly supports hiring of homosexual teachers.**

Education is not the goal of the NEA it is indoctrination, and the NEA will take whatever steps needed to accomplish their goal, This is one reason I think conservatives ought to enter the teaching profession, particularly if they feel called to do so. More conservative voices in education would be a good thing, and if all the conservatives leave, it's not going to do anything but get worse.
I refuse to give my money to the NEA or its affiliates, but the public school system is not going away, nor should it actually - there are too many children who have no chance of any sort of education without it, and if we abandon the system, they have no chance of any exposure to conservative values.

the goal of turning local schools into job-training centers....In fact, first hiring preference would be given to these students by the local businessmen who were looking for a dumbed-down, low-paid workforce that could perform menial tasks. Not everyone can or should go to college. Fifty years ago most Americans wouldn't have gone to school more than a few years, then they'd have gone to work in the fields.
If Americans refuse to perform menial tasks, if Americans think menial tasks are beneath them (even if they don't have the ability to do more skilled tasks) we shouldn't be surprised if we're overrun with people from the Third World who are glad to work for even what we consider low pay. We also shouldn't be surprised if the rolls for welfare and other handout programs are long.
If we're going to keep everyone in school, we need to be preparing the students who don't have the ability or interest to go to college for some sort of job.

The NEA isn't exactly a terrorist organization; it's rather the propaganda arm of a terrorist organization (namely the egalitarian socialist Left). The Sinn Fein of the classroom.
