Wendy's restaurant workers in Abington, Whitman, West Bridgewater and Wareham were strip-searched by supervisors acting on phony telephone calls from someone pretending to be a police officer.
The caller said police suspected the employees of stealing from customers at the fast food restaurants and instructed the managers to strip-search the employees.

I know many fast food workers are morons, but thought that maybe some of the supervisors had half a brain. You might have thought that one of them would have telephoned the Police Department, or the owner of the Wendys franchise, or some Corporate emergency number before doing these strip searches. They'll sure be some lawsuits from the people who were forced to strip.

The male employee told police the supervisor searched him in a secluded room.
This writer is a hack. Let's start it off with "Dear Penthouse Forum, I never thought I'd be writing you but I am a Junior at a small southern college..." and see where this story takes us....

I'm guessing that the phrase: "Do you want me to supersize that for you?" might work it's way into that version of the story.

Amateurs. A follow-up call to the real police could have had the victims arrested for indecent exposure...

Dont be surprised when the perp is caught and turns out to be the best friend of one of the managers with a hot female employee...
To: BansheeBill
...or the perp is the second half of a Wendys couple that was "unfairly" terminated. The still employed strip searched half is "victimized" by the strip search and files for 37.4 million in damages...

I can hear it now.
This is Jim calling from the Bureau of Election fraud. We're investigating corruption and fraud in the precincts in your area. We need all of your employees to vote for <candidate>, as decoys. We'll send you alternate "Fraud Informant Ballots" for all your employees, and their votes for <candidate> won't really count, only their votes on the special "Fraud informant ballots" will count.
I'll bet there are lots of places (not just fast food joints) that would fall for something like that.
