DENVER -- An airport security screener is in trouble for fooling around on the job.
In this case the security worker at Denver International Airport sent himself through an X-ray machine.
Mike Fierberg, spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration, says they have no idea why the guy did it. Fierberg adds the stunt didn't jeopardize the safety of any passengers or planes. But he says X-raying yourself is clearly not acceptable.
The screener, whose name hasn't been released, has been disciplined. Officials say the X-ray incident happened about three months ago.

You're right. The Dems are making the deficient as big as they can. They basically blackmailed the Whitehouse. If the President didn't sign it, he would have been lambasted for not giving us "security" at a proven vulnerable point.
And just a reminder, their medicaid prescription drug proposal was twice the size of the Repubs.
And then there's no drilling in Alaska, no foresting, NAFTA....all those things that hammer the job market and keep us at the mercy of a huge trade deficient.

Anybody know how big the dose is from one of these machines? is it any more risky than getting a chest shot done?

That old guy looks like he could start a serious ruckus.
I'm so glad that the screeners have been federalized. Now that they're professionals, we have nothing to worry about.

Oh I don't know sitting in the operators seat of the machine you are protected from X-ray radiation by shielding built into the machine but running yourself thru the damn thing exposes your entire body from head to foot to constant radiation of a fairly strong amount cancer ,sterility ,genetic mutations are all possible.

Some time ago, at the St. Louis County Court House, a couple sent their baby through the XRay device. The officer at the console fainted dead way.
