I missed it, What was the amendment they just voted on?
To: OXENinFLA
It was the Florida exemption to fully auto weapons.
Almost passed.

"It was the Florida exemption to fully auto weapons."
What the heck it that? People in FL will be allowed to own full auto weapons?

It was the Florida exemption to fully auto weapons. You mean we would have been able to have FULL-AUTO weapons here in FL?!?
To: looscnnn
I was joking. The bill that was shot down was the extension for Unemployment Benefits.
You can now own full auto weapons, with a $200 stamp.
To: RockChucker
Funny.

Yeah, I know. Saw that yesterday. Had Edwards and Kerry been there it would have passed with the 3/5th majority it needed. Guess they're busy elsewhere.

This will be one of the only times the DEMS will advocate invading a country.
To: looscnnn
Just wait, I'm betting Harkin is going to say WE gave the Haitis the guns.
To: looscnnn
Harkin is saying WE need to go in there and defend the "elected" gov't.

"I'm betting Harkin is going to say WE gave the Haitis the guns."
Huh? What about Haiti? I don't have a feed (blocked) and no tv.

Sounds good to me, then we can make it our own country. We can copy the original US Constitution and follow that.

He's saying we're on the side of the thugs because we aren't doing anything.
Wants to send in a 'stabilization force' tomorrow.
To: looscnnn
I don't know what side to pick in this fight.
If Arastid(sp) is as corrupt as I've heard(ie killing his political opponents) it sounds like force is the only way to remove him from power.
To: OXENinFLA
I'll have to order this book. Looks like a good read. Thanks for pointing it out.

"France needs to go in and solve this."
Screw them, we can do it. We then rename it Independence (or whatever) and have all Constitution defending Conservatives move there. Then we would have our own country that is truely free.
