No, they have chosen to subvert the democratic process. They started this and now whine like stuck pigs.

What's despicable is the radical gay agenda that is all about recruitment and the lowering of the age of consent for our youth.

Read some of these links, compiled by another freeper in the most accessible sort of categories I've ever seen, and pay particular attention to the section titled Pedophilia.

Even USA Today had an article about how pedophilia will be the next taboo to fall. Not if I have anything to say about it!

Clearly "how we phrase the debate" is unimportant to the LGBT.

It boggels my mind how the liberal lefties can actually be so dumb as to believe this complete garbage. Its soooo transparent! They should be feared, but also pitied.

I want to point out that We consider today's announcement a declaration of war on gay America. is exactly the same thing so-called conservative Andrew Sullivan said. He has never been one of us. He is a one issue guy -- the same issue that will eventually take his own life.

Man/woman/child/family = bad.

Eating feces/ men having sex with each others butts/ indoctrinating other peoples children into the fetish/ lawlessness/disease = good.

(The homophobes and mental institutions were right. They are a danger to society. They never should have been released in 73)

For millennia, "marriage" has been defined as the union of a man and a woman. If the gays don't like the term "civil union" they should be creative and make up a new word.

When I was about three years old, I insisted green should be called "red."

Now that I'm grown up, I realize that all the reference books call green "green."

If the word "marriage" is redefined, I also want all the reference books changed to agree with my view of color. [/sarcasm]

The militant homosexuals brought up the issue of marriage DURING an election year, confident it would become front-page news, they staged the San Francisco brouhaha for their own benefit and publicity, and NOW, they claim that President Bush is "using" them for political purposes?

That's laughable. And it sounds like their getting nervous over the backlash.

I dont happen to think banning marriage for gays is discrimination.

I take my lead from the liberal wackos on this: Discrimination is in the Eye of the Beholder!

I find that gays wanting to interfere with decency by making a degenerate act mainstream to be VERY OFFENSIVE and if there is discrimination, it is againts Christians.

We consider today's announcement a declaration of war on gay America.

Hey, I'm all for that! What about the war they started, shoving this crap down our throats and our kids throats at school.

"Marriage equality for same-sex couples harms no one."

Welcome to Unisex States of America, where everyone is legally stripped of their gender. Are we actually ahead of Europe in this? Let's not be too unilateral, folks.

If the courts rule that gender has no role in marriages, they can rule that gender has no role in anything.

Shall we eliminate the gender of the driver from a driver's license? After all displaying one's gender there discriminates between a man and a woman.

Supporters of the ERA amendment must be very happy to know that their agenda is on the front burner again....If marriage applies to all, with no acknowlegement of gender, it will mean that the courts can rule that the elimination of any acknowledgement of differences between the sexes is okay.

They are NOT second class citizens. They have chosen an aberrant and dangerous lifestyle. And they are WRONG.Wrong.
WRONG to demand the diseased third branch of our government
and the elected politicians legitimize their fraudulant
imitation of life. But as citizens they are equal. But as
for their behavior/lifestyle I cannot embrace it as "OK"

They wouldn't be happy if President Bush demanded penis-flavored slurpees. That would be seen as pandering to their "community".

Bush's political gain from this is just gravy. The President is doing what is right in his eyes and about 85% of the rest of the nation. He would not have this opportunity for "gain" if these homosexuals would stop their radical cheerleaders from pushing thier society-warping agenda.

So President Bush's "political gain" is a direct result of their own actions. Thank you, homosexuals!
