Folks, Loftus is saying that Al Zawahri MAY have been captured/killed. He is saying that this story about his brother (son?) being captured in Egypt (anyone got a link to that story with the details?), the US has asked for a DNA sample from him for cross matching. Its gossip he says, but we have "a couple of bodies we can't identify". Loftus on alert tonight about the possible identify of these bodies!!

Was Loftus thinking this was a recent capture?

Here's a link which references the brother Zawahri:

Mohammed al-Zawahri is seen in this undated photograph taken while in police custody in Egypt. Egyptian authorities, for the first time, Thursday, March 4, 2004, acknowledged having the longtime Jihad member in their prisons. Al-Zawahri is the younger brother of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden's deputy, Ayman al-Zawahri. (AP Photo/Asharq al-Awsat).
