Have a look at the website for Ham Radio Outlet. When you find something that piques your interest, do some competitive price shopping to make sure you are getting a fair deal. If you are on a budget, you can look for a local ham shop. It is common for hams to offer used equipment on the shop bulletin board (cork board). Look for announcements of ham flea markets as well. If you buy at a flea market, you should insist that the seller demonstrate proper functioning of the equipment.

The above two websites are where I have bought ALL of my equipment. Do NOT...I repeat...do NOT buy from The Radio Schack or Fry's Electronics OR Texas Towers!!!!!!!
