Quirks found in Libyan weapons program

TRIPOLI, Libya, March 2 (UPI) -- Some unusual and innovative discoveries have been made since Libya abandoned its nuclear and chemical programs, the Washington Post said Tuesday.

One of the findings by a U.S. team was at an alleged turkey farm outside Tripoli, where there were no birds, but rather a metal barn filled with empty chemical bomb canisters.

I forget who mentioned smallpox above, but let me assure you there have been no confirmed cases of Smallpox anywhere. That would be a world health emergency of unprecedented proportions, and couldn't be kept quiet.

That's sort of the way I feel about OBL. If he had been captured on or about January 20, 2004, as some have speculated, then the news and potential impact of that event would be so great that it couldn't be kept quiet for more than a few days.

BTW, what ever happened to the killer flu that was supposed to ravage the world this flu season? According to today's NYSlimes, it was relatively mild and insignificant. No mutant or biologically engineered strains. I don't even know anyone who came down with the real flu (as opposed to the misnamed "stomach flu").

Anyone out there planning to vacation in Canada this year? All of their tourism boards and travel promotions should come with a little sticker or button advising Americans they are the training ground and playground for Bin Laden's terrorists. I've always had Mama Nome to whack me in the head to compare here to what she lived through and to "get over it".

I unfortunately don't have Mama Nome here doing that now, God Bless her.

JP what was even more frightening than the million man march was that reparation gathering that was held in Washington last year or the year before. I'm black and they scared the shite out of me. It should be still on the C-span website. I will check after a bit to see if I can locate it. There were people in attendance that I never heard of. One was named Prince Israel. A nice looking young man dressed up in some white attire, but boy some of the crap that was spewed from his mouth made the hair or my body stand on end.
