February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

I did not see the video on TV, but did read about it at FReepers.

My first thought is to suggest that you go and read the
alb-net link in my post #1877, there is a good chance that it is the same chemical.

The most common dog disease is Rabies. Russia has had a lot of it, check the back files at promedmail.org (or is it com, it jams my computer up), several countries have had outbreaks of Rabies and if I recall correctly, France did also, in the past month or so.

Then we had that Monkey Pox out break with the rat family imported animals.

And New York is over run with rats, so I read.

Here is one of my favorite pages from them....I posted it on thread 2 I think. It gives a great history of what AQ has done, has planned etc. and what they tried to buy, AND what they did get their dirty little hands on.

The institute homepage is attached.

What I remember most about my family's trip to Key West was that Cuba is only 50 miles distant. Not far at all. In fact, far too close.

Do you recall all the barrels of insecticide that were found when we were searching Iraq for WMD, they would be sure that the latest find was "The Big ONE" and then declare it to be insecticide.

I was quite taken with the report that Deet, could be the cause of the "Gulf War Syndrome".

It is in my post #1877, at Nuc News.

To set the record on the use of nuclear electric plants, I don't know how I feel about it, have been on both sides of the fence for many years.

But I do think that the link to the Yahoo Group for Nuc News should be watched, there are a few reports there, that are not at other sites on todays news, or that I would not have searched for.

i didn't join, but have put them on my tool bar, so that I will check them more often and not forget them.

In the last week, there was a report that the web sites that told how to mix-use cyanide had been removed, they were terrorist as I recall.

Either at Sean's site or the Hagnhah site......maybe. I don't have the correct spelling or URL.

>>>>It's often been suggested that AQ purchased radioactive material from the Russian "Black Market"...i.e. the good Russian government had nothing to do with it, rather, the fault lies with scientists and criminals out to make a ruble.

??????????????????????????????

The good Russian Government is? Are you speaking of President Vladimir Putin of Russia?

Is this the Good Government that....

- Is retaining Cold War-era military outposts in Georgia, Armenia, Tajikistan, Moldova and Kazakhstan, a radar post in Azerbaijan and a military missile- and rocket-launching pad in Kazakhstan?

- Or is it the Good Government that is stalling on withdrawing troops stationed in Moldova and Georgia, where Moscow stands accused of aiding pro-Russia separatist movements?

- Or opened an air base Oct. 23, 2003 in the Kyrgyzstan town of Kant. (side note: the base is a short drive from a major new U.S. military base at Manas.)?

***Side Note About This Base from Stephen Blank***, an instructor at the Strategic Studies Institute at the U.S. Army War College, in a recent analysis:

"Since Russia is not fighting anyone in Central Asia and cannot spare troops to defend this base's perimeter, it looks more like an attempt to show the flag and counter the American presence," Mr. Blank noted.

- Or is it the Good Government that just tried to launch an ICBM missile during an UNneeded, UNtimely Nuclear War Excercise in the middle of a war?

Which Good Government are you referring to JG?

1st time for me. I am not an expert and I have no source. What I say comes from the gut. I believe we have less to worry about today than we did prior to going into Iraq and a good deal less than we did prior to 911. If we allow ourselves to get too worked up over these low life’s, they have achieved their objective. All these #@$%# understand is force. Just like a school yard bully, when they see someone stand up to them they're not so tough. Watching the Oscars last night I saw some good examples of those more dangerous to our survival than AQ could ever be. Idiots with mush for brains who make way too much for simply entertaining us. Some have the nerve to get political and tell me what to think. Only way to break the USA is from within by changing the meaning of words until what is good sounds bad and what is bad sounds good.

Ah yes, we haven't heard from good ole Rev Jackson for a while! Where has he been?

After all, it was Rev Jackson who was President Bill Clinton's point man for Africa. It was Jackson who spearheaded Clinton's 10-day African safari in March 1998, at a cost to taxpayers of $42.8 million.

And it was Rev Jackson who legitimated Liberian strongman Charles Taylor and his protégé, the machete-wielding militia leader in neighboring Sierra Leone, Cpl. Foday Sankoh.

Didn't Rev Jackson say in an interview that he considered Sankoh and Taylor to be like the gang leaders in Chicago, who could be "redeemed" by his careful ministrations?

How are those lovely, bloody diamonds Rev Jackson?

And Rev Jackson? Where did those monies come from that went to the Rainbow PUSH Coalition fund for the 1998 Democrat Election?

How about those specific $20,000 and $15,000 gifts with the identification "President Aristide"?

Just some questions we all would like to know.

Of course that wasn't directed at you JP! That man (errr, thing) makes me crazy!

Thank you, I will listen.

Art Bell was interviewing Russians back in the mid 90's that were telling us that the suitcase nukes were already in the U.S.

Nunev and the leader's niece, come to mind first.

I don't doubt they are here, there is too much info out there on them.

Here's another one that makes you go Hmmmmmmmm.

Metal object thrown on NYC subway track causes short circuit; 1,000 passengers evacuated

NEW YORK (AP) - A metal object thrown onto subway tracks caused a short-circuit that disrupted service for hours and forced 1,000 passengers to be evacuated through smoke-filled tunnels.

"It was scary. The explosions were real loud," said Lola Braverman, who was evacuated from one of the trains that stalled under Manhattan's Greenwich Village neighborhood Sunday.

The man suspected of throwing materials on the track, Bonergy Quelal, 47, was arrested at the West Fourth Street station at about 5:30 p.m., police said.

It was not clear what was thrown onto the tracks, but it welded to the steel and caused a breaker to short-circuit, police spokesman Sgt. Michael Wysokowski said. Smoke filled the station and seven trains had to be evacuated. Five people were taken to hospitals for treatment of smoke inhalation and two others refused treatment on the scene. None were seriously hurt, police said. Service on the A, B, C, D, E and F lines was not restored until shortly after midnight, New York City Transit spokesman Paul Fleuranges said.

Over 300 children have died of a mysterious illness in Afghanistan's northern province of Badakhshan in less than one month.

Make you wonder if the AQ gang is doing a "quality check" on their bioweapons.
