State Attorney General Bill Lockyer on Saturday rebuffed Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's demand that he force an end to San Francisco's same-sex marriages, calling the directive political rhetoric.

"The governor can direct the Highway Patrol. He can direct the next 'Terminator 4' movie if he chooses. But he can't direct the attorney general in the way he's attempted to do," Lockyer said, adding that Schwarzenegger's written directive "was a statement designed for consumption at the Republican convention."

No it is a big deal. It is explaining to children that it is wrong behavior and having teachers contradict that teaching. It is an endorsement of benefits based solely on how to people achieve orgasm. It is government tax money going to sanction sexual gratification.

It is the family unit being subservient to the will of the lawyers and not the government being subservient to the family.

Homosexual marriage WILL affect immigration law, social security, and taxation. All this in order to impose acceptance of a a sexual behavior (fetish) by judicial fiat.

Marriage is not about love OR sex. Marriage is about producing and rasing children. Marriage has never been defined by love. Marriage has never been defined by living together for ten years.

Marriage has never been defined by some sob story of some couple.

I know this is an issue which will get me and others to the voting booth.

Kerry supports homosexual marriage. Kerry opposes FMA.
Edwards is lawyering with BS about personal opposition but obvious support for homosexual marriage in exchange for votes.
