At least five people were killed and thrity injured on Sunday after a bus exploded in the German Colony neighborhood in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem Police Chief Miki Levy said that the blast, which occurred at 8:40 A.M., took place in the middle of the bus and that there are fatalities.

The bus line was reported to be number 14 which runs from Talpiot to Beit Hakerem.

The explosion took place while the bus was standing at a street light.

Magen David Adom Spokesman Avi Zohar told Channel Two News that the explosion took place at a bus stop opposite the Inbal Hotel on Jabotinsky Street in Jerusalem.

The wounded were evacuated to Hadassah Hospital in Ein Karem, Hadassah Hospital at Mt Scopus, Bikur Holim and to the Sha'are Zedek Medical Center.

The explosion took place near the Liberty Bell Park which is situated close to the Prime Minister's and the President's official residences.

Security officials estimated that the explosion was caused by a suicide bomber who boarded the bus.

Resuce services are at the scene.

Elazar Shtrum, an eyewitness to the blast said that the bus is totally wrecked and that glass was everywhere.

On January 29, 11 people were killed after a suicide bomber blew himself up on bus no. 19., in the most recent terror attack in the capital.

There was a conference at a hotel near by, a witness was at that place. Moshe Yaalon, Israel's top General, was at the hotel at the time, and they were going to go view the fence and take a tour.

The Palestinian Authority condememed the bomb and said America needs to revive the "Peace Process".

Israel needs to drop a Moab on Ramallah, kill a few thousand people, condem the bombing and suggest perhaps the Palestinians need to revive the peace process.

This will not stop until the Arabs fear Israel and the United States, instead of laugh at us.

At least seven people were killed and over 60 injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up on bus no.14 on Jerusalem’s Keren Hayesod Street near Liberty Bell Park. The wounded have been evacuated to hospital. Ten are in serious or critical condition.

According to Jerusalem Police Chief, Commissioner Miki Levy, “The bomber got on the bus and detonated his bomb belt at the center of the bus. We did not have any specific alerts. Several attempts were thwarted last week.”

Have you ever known someone, the type of person who will grit his teeth and endure a large amount of abuse, glaring a warning to his attackers, which they ignore, mistaking his patience for weakness?

The attacks continue, with the responses measured, and restrained -- but, with repeated warnings, which continue to be ignored.

Then, one day, the abusers cross a line. They might not even realize they've crossed the line -- they may not even believe that a line exists. But, nevertheless, it exists, and they crossed it.

The "weak" one -- the "victim", whom can be "safely" attacked time and again, quietly takes to his feet, and begins walking toward his attackers.

When the sun sets on that day, it's a different world, especially for the self-deluded fools who mistook patience for weakness.

I believe that day is approaching. Rapidly approaching. For all I know, today is that day.

Israel is IMO getting very close to striking back. I mean for those two words to convey a meaning that is more significant than anything that region has ever seen.

There is a report that they might be some kind of pesticide that was placed in the suicide vest.

Fence only provides obstacle. Will not destroy terror.

The fence, if constructed properly -- tall enough and strong enough -- will prevent pieces of the crater from flying into Israel proper.
