Kerry exposed himself when he admitted to committing war crimes while in Viet Nam. Viet Nam vets deserve a lot of credit. Rigtht, wrong, or indifferent, they were put into an impossible, no win situation!

Kind of preaching to the choir, it seems.

'Kerry must conclude that Americans have a short memory. Also, that the young have no knowledge of the Vietnam War, therefore he can recite whatever he wants to their innocent ears.'

Kerry and all democrats depend on this tactic in their quest for power.

Let's see . . . Kerry's recent quest steps on all the Vietnam Vets . . . The National Guard . . . Who's next in line?

What Kerry did to McCain is unforgivable.

John McCain may be a big enough man, after many generations of contemplation and reflection, to forgive Kerry for what he did to our troops, but I, as an informed voter am not so willing to forgive, nor forget.

In 2002 and 2003, I joined my country, with the leadership of George W. Bush, to lead a capitulation movement in Iraq that saved American lives. How am I suppose to view a guy who led a capitulation movement against MY COUNTRY in the 70s?

I can see why nobody is excited about Kerry. He just doesn't get it.

Last night Chris Matthews lambasted an anti-Kerry guest by yelling "Were you in Vietnam? How do you know [Kerry was lying]? Were you in Vietnam!?"

The guest offered a lame and unforceful "Well, no one else said [anything about atrocities]"

But there are now several million Vietnamese in America who can easily and freely validate Kerry's claims of atrocities and crimes against South Vietnamese civilians. Or not.

Instead the Vietnamese-American newspapers are calling Kerry a "phan boi," traitor.

We'll be waiting a very long time for any American newspaper or news host to report that fact.

In his 1971 Senate testimony, Kerry cited the "Winter Soldier Investigation" as his main evidence for war crimes in Vietnam.

The WSI has had several of its "witnesses" exposed as proven liars, including Al Hubbard, his collaborator in his 1971 "Meet the Press" interview. Hubbard, along with other WSI witnesses, variously lied as to their combat status, time of service, etc.

To this date, Kerry has never had to confront the fact of the proven fraud of several of the WSI "witnesses".

Kerry is now denying that he ever accused U.S. soldiers of war crimes. He claims he was referring the the leadership of the country at the time....not the soldiers.

WHAT A LIAR he is!

Dear Lurkers from the Press Corps:

A study in contrasts:

President Bush ordered all his ANG records open to public and press scrutiny.

Meantime, Senator Kerry continues to insist on secrecy as to the records that might reveal what his medals were actually awarded for.

Kinda odd. Kinda hypocritical.

Kerry left Vietnam early after getting three dubious wounds. Does anyone know the fate of the guy who took his place?
