Last night Chris Matthews lambasted an anti-Kerry guest by yelling "Were you in Vietnam? How do you know [Kerry was lying]? Were you in Vietnam!?"
The guest offered a lame and unforceful "Well, no one else said [anything about atrocities]"
But there are now several million Vietnamese in America who can easily and freely validate Kerry's claims of atrocities and crimes against South Vietnamese civilians. Or not.
Instead the Vietnamese-American newspapers are calling Kerry a "phan boi," traitor.
We'll be waiting a very long time for any American newspaper or news host to report that fact.

Colmes had the same response to Sampley: outrage that he would call Kerry (and McCain) traitors. Alan got apoplectic over it. Sampley was unflappable.

Matthews has no right to "slam" someone just because they weren't in Nam. Matthews dodged the draft himself by joining the Peace Corps. I wrote Matthews about the interview. And I told Matthews that Kerry was a lying traitor. I hope I get sued. LOL I'll look forward to my and Kerry's appearance in court under oath. His guest may have not been in Nam but I was. And I can say unequivocally that there were no "mass atrocities" in Viet Nam. Kerry is a bald faced lying traitor. PERIOD! Semper Fi, Kelly

I saw that too. The guy was Charlie Black, an old GOP hand from the Reagan administration. I have to say Chris was rude to everyone last night, but to Black especially.
