New PRO-Bush ad with YOUR FReeper Suggestions! CLICK HERE
Hey, all!
I have modified the ad I posted yesterday, using all of the comments you posted. It is available in its entirety HERE (right-click and "Save As).
Also, for those of you who want it as two ads, or for those of you who have dial-up, I have broken it down into two pieces:
Get Part I HERE (again, right-click and "Save-As"). Part I features Bill Clinton SAYING that he passed up an opportunity to extradite Bin Laden!
Get Part II HERE (again, right-click and "Save-As"). This part features Bush's accomplishments in the war on terror, and has him saying that you are either with us or with the terrorists!
If you have a REALLY slow connection, there is a "Flash" version HERE. It is highly compressed, though.
Also, you are free to download and host/mirror the files yourselves if you like. If you do, please post a link in this thread to the place where you have hosted/mirrored the file(s).
Again, I look forward to your comments.
FReegards!

If you just clik on the link and try to play it, it doesn't play.
But if you follow jmstein7's careful instructions to:
RIGHT CLICK on the link, then select the "save target as" from the menu, the ad will download to your computer -- just make sure you know where you saved it. AFTER it's downloaded, then you just find the file, and THEN click on it. It will play find.

I don't get it, it opened for me right away, took about 30 sec. to download and started right up. Do you just have to save it to send it?

If you want to send the actual files via email.
But, they are too big. Just send the direct links.

If other people could download the files and host/mirror them, that would be great. These need to be more accessible.
If you do host/mirror the file(S), please post your host/mirror link to the files in this thread.

EXCELLENT! Thanks for buying more bandwidth, at least I'm assuming that's what you did. At any rate, EXCELLENT ad! I really can't see why it wouldn't be used. I'm assuming you yourself have forwarded this to his campgain. If you haven't already, I would strongly suggest it.

I wouldn't know where to send it.
Can you send it along to his campaign and to the RNC, etc.?
Thanks!
Forward the links to anyone you think could use them.
And, again, if you know of anyone who could also host/mirror the files, that would help. (Starting to get expensive).

I can't play any of the mpg files. All of my mpg players say the format is not supported. Other mpg files that I have work fine.
The Flash file is great, but the Clinton commentary is difficult to understand. Captioning would solve that.
The ad does a good job of showing that Bush has been a good prez, and Clinton failed us. I like Consort's suggestion of using the photo in post #34, if you can get permission (see backhoe's post #40). I'll be passing this around, but I'll wait in case you make it even better.
I'd like to see a similar ad contrasting Bush with Kerry.

Sorry about the long delay. I was busy critiquing the ad and didn't see your post.
Yeah, I like!

I have a pretty powerful computer. I know VERY little about hosting files though. I would do it if a FReeper out there could explain it to me, or direct me to explainations. I'm guessing I'd have to set up a website, or allow downloads directly from my computer. I'd do that, if someone could explain how.
Anyway, sure, I'll forward this to the campaign. I'll make it my task today to figure out how to do that. I have broadband, so I think the e-mail I have with that allows me to send huge files so at least I could e-mail it to them as the file itself.
Thanks again, and again, excellent work.
