New PRO-Bush ad with YOUR FReeper Suggestions! CLICK HERE
Hey, all!
I have modified the ad I posted yesterday, using all of the comments you posted. It is available in its entirety HERE (right-click and "Save As).
Also, for those of you who want it as two ads, or for those of you who have dial-up, I have broken it down into two pieces:
Get Part I HERE (again, right-click and "Save-As"). Part I features Bill Clinton SAYING that he passed up an opportunity to extradite Bin Laden!
Get Part II HERE (again, right-click and "Save-As"). This part features Bush's accomplishments in the war on terror, and has him saying that you are either with us or with the terrorists!
If you have a REALLY slow connection, there is a "Flash" version HERE. It is highly compressed, though.
Also, you are free to download and host/mirror the files yourselves if you like. If you do, please post a link in this thread to the place where you have hosted/mirrored the file(s).
Again, I look forward to your comments.
FReegards!

"You know, when the Democrats pick their candidate, you could create a devastating ad...especially if the candidate is Commie Kerry. Position his voting record on military spending against pictures of the USS Cole and the Embassy. His speeches against pictures of the Hanoi Hilton. Lots of ideas, and you could do a killer hit ad ;-D"
====
EXCELLENT IDEAS!!!
Also could have a video of the Patriot missile intercepting a Scud, pointing out the value of that missile, and that Kerry voted agaist it, and if it had been up to him, we wouldn't have that weapons system, and the Scuds could have hit their target, causing loss of human lives.

I should check out Kerry's voting record. I think there are a lot of opportunities, such as the Patriot missile intercepting a Scud. A picture is worth a thousand words.
The problem is how to get it on the air. Even with money, the regular media probably wouldn't air it. If I think of something, I'll post it. If it airs over the internet on conservative sites, it's sort of like preaching to the choir. Undecided voters, and conservative dems, and target NYC, PA, and Washington DC, where the terrorists have done the most damage.

I think we could make hard hitting ads, which would still be within the parameters acceptable to become mainstream ads, and those could be aired.
I think the grassroots -- e-mailing campaign to friends, etc. also has an impact. But the ads would have to be something that wouldn't be immediately dismissed by moderates, as "right wing bash". There are plenty of facts, such as the point about the Patriot missile, quoting Kerry that he wants to put the UN in charge, vs. quoting Bush, who said we don't need permission from anyone to defend ourselves, to pointing to Kerry's votes against intelligence budget, etc. which could be presented in a very factual, yet effective way.

Right. As of now I love the ad, but I know some nancyboy will get his knickers in a twist over it. This is just the beginning. The ad can be refined until it is acceptable to mainstream media, yet pack the desired psychological punch. There's plenty of time.
I just thought of something. Counter measures have to be in place for when the democrats will most assuredly bray about using the 9/11 tragedy as an election stunt. You know how they are ;-)

It is a good ad, except the final words Bush says could be interpreted as "if you vote against Bush, you are with the terrorists." I don't take it like that, but if this ad is all over the media the media will interpret the ad that way.

Awesome! Did you put that together? Two suggestions - one, use more sinister music and two, the part where Clinton is speaking. . .you can't read the text because it washes out against the WTC. I think its important to be able to read the text as he speaks because the sound quality isn't perfect. Awesome job whoever did that piece.

No. I made it in Premiere Pro and After Effects Production Bundle.
Then I converted it.
The original file is 300mb, broadcast-quality DV -- good for TV commercials :)
