Half of America - the blue areas - will still vote for him if he's the lib-dem candidate. That's the saddest part of all. I mourn for my country...

It's always disappointing to find a nice juicy headline, then to discover it's from Newsmax.com.Read the article. I know what you're saying though. The biggest problem that Newsmax has with 'truth in reporting' is the way they write headlines. I have noticed that for a long time, their headlines sometimes exaggerate.
But, the truth is in the article.

Can't wait for this political show to get on the road between horseface & W. No way he can run from his own words and deeds.

He's busted
IF he said this ( denying that he ever accused U.S. soldiers of committing war crimes in Vietnam) to Judy Limp/Dem/Liberal/Sycophant Woodruff.
Here comes Hillary.

He said it. There is plenty of written, spoken, and videotaped documentation.

But, the truth is in the article.I guess what I mean is that Newsmax.com is not exactly "mainstream", and sometimes their reporting is sloppy.
Also they send too much junkmail.

"And of course Judy Woodruff did not contest his words."You didn't need to add this part, it is assumed because for her to have done otherwise would have made the news in and of itself.

I'm too young to have served in Vietnam. Can you tell me what exactly a "free-fire zone" is and what makes it a crime? I would assume any part of the battlefield in a war is a "free-fire zone".

Well, America is at war, and we can't afford to risk the sort of psuedo-leadership Kerry offers.
He condemns himself with his own words.

I think you missed the point. I have the same reaction too when I see what looks like a "juicy" headline. I keep hoping that when I open the article, it will be from some major news outlet. If it's posted from a major news outlet, then the story might have legs. It's not that I don't trust what Newsmax is saying, it's just that seeing a topic on Newsmax is a long way from seeing it on the evening news where 99% of the public (who haven't even heard of Newsmax) might see it also.

I didn't say that, and if I did say it I didn't mean it, and it depends on what your definitions of rape and murder are.
