Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger ordered California's attorney general Friday to take legal action to stop San Francisco from granting marriage licenses to gay couples.
In a letter to Attorney General Bill Lockyer, Schwarzenegger directed the state's top lawyer "to take immediate steps" to get a definitive court ruling declaring what the city is doing to be illegal.

This was part of my point. This is being rejected by the very people they hope to indoctrinate.
This is exactly why you need to read the book. Like yours, it can't be reduced to sound bites.
Hetrosexuals are part of the problem and are causing a population explosion that's ruining the planet. They'll tell you it's WRONG to bring children into the world and subject them to war, famine and pestilence!!!
That's why I call them "deadenders!" They don't want marriage for what it's ALWAYS been intended for... children. They hang out with liberal Demonicrats that whine "It's for the children," when that is the biggest lie of all. Abortion is not "for the children," either! Their whole life is one big falsehood.
They don't want a neighborhood, they want their falsehood! That's what they're propagating instead of children... a deadend, depopulating perversion of the truth! I wouldn't find their behavior offensive if they stopped the propagating of propoganda that sounds just like "death to America," the nation built on nuclear "family values!"
From Leon Skousen's "The Making of America:"
"On the second level (of self government) is the family, which the founders considered to be the most important unit of organized society..."
Never did they concieve of Heather having two mommies!!! It's bad enough that my kids were P.O.'d every Christmas because they only had one mom and dad and only two sets of grandparents! The other kids were gettin twice what they got for Christmas!!! Like Hitlery says... It's just not FAIR!!!
When I first started cleaning houses, I went with a company before my own business got off the ground. The company was owned by a lesbian who advertised in a gay publication. I've cleaned for more gay and lesbian couples than I would ever care to admit, including Linda Birner, the publisher of Mom Guess What.... I've never run into the type you mention here. I also worked for a courier company that hired a lot of lesbians. These gals were my friends and stood by me in times of need.
I will never agree with you on this my dear. It is just too personal.
Rag one, Hillary?
Will he be able to finish his term as mayor when he gets out?
I understand that you can't agree with my position while looking at it ONLY through your own eyes, and that is completely understandable. I was hoping you could seperate the personal from the societal. Can you? (genuinely curious)
Cause if you cain't... I'ma movin on to a different subject with you, without malice.
Like all governments, the proper operation of California's state government depends on the good faith of law abiding officials. By law, the governor cannot usurp the constitutional functions and prerogatives of the (independently elected) attorney general, which is what he would be doing if he were able to simply order the AG's office to proceed. The governor cannot fire the AG, either -- so Lockyer has no reason to pay attention to the governor at all if he doesn't want to. In this case, we have an AG who chooses to drag his heels on enforcement, adopting a passive posture and responding only to SF's suit against the duly enacted, voter-approved "definition of marriage" statute which is in the state's Family Code.
What Lockyer and Newsome are up to is despicable but there isn't much Arnold can do about it, except wait while the matter wends its way through the courts. This buys the democrats a lot of time, during which they can do quite a bit of mischief. Until a binding decision is handed down by the judiciary, they can steadily increase the number of homo "marriages" and provide those people with monetary and other benefits at the citizens' expense. By the time the dust has settled on this matter, they will have achieved a fait accompli. Even though these "marriages" may have ultimately been invalidated, the money can't be whistled back too easily and, having come so close to victory, the homos will press their case all the more insistently. This strategy of civil disobedience has been occuring in other states simultaneously, eg. New Mexico. It's been carefully planned and the democrats and homo lobby are now coordinating its implementation.
There is really nothing new about this. In the 25 years following the War Between The States, many American government bodies, both federal and state, routinely went much further than this in their bad faith and corruption. Many Americans simply stopped voting and turnout dropped to the lowest percentage ever. More recently, we've seen a federal AG burn men, women and children to death with no compelling reason to do so, except that she and her boss didn't happen to like them. IOW, there is no system of government that will work if criminals are put in charge. This is the situation we have in California.
FANTASTIC REPLY!!! (every single bit of it!!!)
Very well written and nicely done.
I would only disagree that this is a complete RAT strategy. It may be locally, but the national head homo-boy, Barney likes Franks, has called for a halt to this because they know it could be disastrous, with huge backlash potential in the coming elections.
And, Bob, I must agree with you that this strategy is not embraced by all among the democrats. In the upcoming national elections, it could well become their Achilles' heel. It's one more example of the intra-party conflict between the local ambitions of people like Newsome, acting in concert with national special interest groups like the "gay lobby," and the broader interests of entrenched beltway democrats like Franks.
Like Clinton, who travelled to SF to campaign for Newsome, the mayor is perfectly willing to throw the national party overboard to advance his own career. This could be a silver lining for Bush, not only for his re-election but for whipping up critical public awareness and support for federal legislation forbidding homosexual "marriage."
He watch it! That's not a very nice thing to say about Wookies....
Could be. Or maybe, he just found out what Texans are beginning to think about California/ns:
A Father watched his daughter playing in the garden. He smiled as he reflected on how sweet and innocent his little girl was.
Suddenly she just stopped and stared at the ground. He went over to her and noticed she was looking at two spiders mating.
"Daddy, What are those two spiders doing?" she asked. "They're mating," her father replied. "
What do you call the spider on top, Daddy?" she asked."
That's a Daddy Longlegs." Her father answered.
"So, the other one is Mommy Longlegs?" the little girl asked.
"No," her father replied. "Both of them are Daddy Longlegs."
The little girl thought for a moment, then took her feet and stomped them flat. "Well, it might be okay in California or New York, but we're not having any of that crap in Texas."
Wasn't he also in The Wizard Of Oz?
I seem to recall one very buff munchkin....
